    Hello everyone,

I am planning on visiting PV in two short weeks...I am 80% sure I want to have it the Dreams hotel...but I figure if I am visiting I should check out a few others to make sure. I want to have a barefoot wedding on the beach for 30 people and spend around $6000-$7000 for the wedding ceremony and reception only??

Does anybody know of some other locations I should compare Dreams too??

Hi Amy. I am looking into the Riu Jalisco in PV as well. I don't know what you have in mind... so many options right? But this resort may be woorth looking into. The WC's name is Andrea, good luck! I hope u find what you are looking for!

Definitely check into Las Caletas. A handful of us here are getting married there, I also will be barefoot on the beach. The location is a lot more private than Dreams or most hotels really.

You will remain well within your price range (and probably end up saving $$) if you get the intimate package (you share a boat to Las Caletas with other tourists as opposed to paying extra to have a private boat). Nicole is the WC I've been working with there.

      Happy planning!!

There are so many options, it really does depend on what you're looking for. You've probably seen these already, but I'd scan this section to see what you find that peaks your interest: http://bestdestinati....com/forum/f13/

If you're running out of time, here's a little list to help organize things: http://bestdestinati...com/forum/t2365

You might want to try Grand Velas, Krystal, Marriott Casa Magna.
Mismaloya is a beautiful area too, south of town
