Is it ok to stay at for example Dreams (cuz my family wants all inclusive) and then get married (the ceremony and the reception) at a different hotel...like Sheraton? just wondering

I sure that the Shearton or any other hotel will charge you a fee to hold the wedding there if you are not guest

We are staying at the riu and having our ceremony at the church and reception at the westin. Westin wants 500$ fee and sheraton wanted 2000$ fee.

for example with the westin, you not only have to be a guest, but you have to have a room block if order to avoid the site fee. i dont know how that works at the sheraton or anywhere else though.

no room block for us when we were looking around but all hotels did charge a fee. Good luck!
