Okay, I give! I will never make it as a greeting card designer.

The parents want to send announcements to people that don't live in the area and won't be able to make the AHR. Other than "we don't want our names on it" they won't give me any help with what they want the announcements to say. So, I came up with the image below (the black corners will be white), but it puts me to sleep.

Anyone have any ideas how to make this tolerable?

I think we'll put our website address on it at the bottom, as well.

I'm no good at figuring out what to say. But someone just posted a really cute announcement today, you might want to check out what it said.

I think it just needs a little more personal touch. Maybe a photo- some type of graphic. Something other than words. I'm no help at designing it though. Sorry.

I don't think they suck at all! I agree, that maybe a pic of you two will make it more personal.

Our announcements are going to say:

He slipped the ring on her finger
          A promise made for life…
Join us as we share their joy
Now that they are man and wife.

Do they want them to be formal?
Also do you need to get them printed before you actually get married?

I don't like "the happy news"
I think "we are proud to annouce..." then have the little poem about the waves is nice.
          Christine + Will (married 7/20/07) + Ainsleigh (born 6/25/08) + Nolan (born 11/9/10) + Delaney (born 12/31/13) = One Very Happy Family!

I like the wording. All it needs is a beautiful ferret picture & you are ready to go.

OK, honestly, I think something like a palm tree graphic or a starsfish would finish it.

I'm doing my announcements after the wedding. I'm making vista print postcards because they are 10 cents each & 1/2 price stamps. I plan on putting a picture from the wedding on the front and some writing on the back. I'll have to save your pretty poem :)

You can use my poem, but only if you have a picture of Nibblet in his tux on the front!
