Second guessing your dress decision is only natural but I really wouldn't lose sleep over it. I still look at my wedding pics kinda wishing I picked another gown but my husband assures that he though I was beautiful. So I'll believe him. lol
Yes you were the most beautiful woman in the world that day. And every day for that matter.

What you ladies have to keep in mind is that for the most part we see a white dress. And what matters more is the woman wearing it. Half of the details and complaints you have about the dress are not even visible to us.

Get some sleep knowing that he will be blown away by whatever you wear.

oh we can always count on Jason to make us ladies feel better!
    Christine + Will (married 7/20/07) + Ainsleigh (born 6/25/08) + Nolan (born 11/9/10) + Delaney (born 12/31/13) = One Very Happy Family!

I agree with all the girls. The dress doesn't make the bride beautiful on the wedding day. Her sheer happiness and glowing aura do. I can not even tell you how many people told me I was glowing. AND I felt it too- I felt radiant. I probably would have felt that way in a paper sack.

Trust you instincts. If the dress looks good on you, it probably does. Your emotions will make you even more beautiful the day of!

Oh and I wanted to add after reading all the other comments-
When I first tried on my dress, I cried and cried. Not because I liked it, but because I thought I looked terrible. I wasn't able to take pictures the first time I tried it on because of store policy, but when it came in after I purchased it, I took pics and HATED the way I looked.

There was no making me feel better either. I tried it on again when I got home (meaning out of the unflattering florescent light) and took pictures over. I felt much better but still not 100% confident.

The day of the wedding, I didn't even have a care in the world. I felt beautiful because I was so overwhelmed with my emotions. I didn't even think about all my insecurities once. I felt beautiful. I believe you will find yourself feeling the same way as well.

          Oh Rachel,
That is so sweet of you to say. I asked FI this over the weekend - here is our conversation:

ME: Honey, what if you don't like my dress?
FI: You don't have to wear it that long.
          ME: What do you mean?
FI: You're not wearing it the whole night are you? Aren't you going to change into something more comfortable?
ME: What do you mean change? Are you going to change?
FI: No, I'm not changing. That's why I'm wearing something comfortable. Some girls get two dresses. I don't know. I just assumed you would change.

WTF I felt like choking him! He was so nonchalant about the whole thing. I have been pouring over every little detail and he's like - oh whatever!

NO - I'm not changing! My question had nothing to do with me changing, my question was what if he didn't like it. Now, my attitude is whatever!!!! I'm sure he'll like it and yes - I am wearing my dress and my veil all night long! When else can you get away with wearing a veil? This is my one and only day and NO I'm not changing!

In the end I'm sure he'll like it. I just didn't like his response. Pheww...that felt good to get out!

haha Celina- guys are just clueless. They don't know a thing about wedding stuff like we do. They just know to show up and be in love. LOL

As for changing, I changed- only cause my bustle kept coming undone when I was dancing. I wanted to get down and boogie.
