Mini beach bag Place Card Holders?

Hi Ladies,

 

I would like to use these mini baskets as my place card holders. I think that they are simply darling and way to cute. I figured that I will place the placecard lazily in the opening of the basket, along with a shell or something. Plus, the ribbon doesn't come with it, so I figured that this would be easy for me to bring in the "dots and dashes" ribbon that I used on my STDs and invitations and a pretty little shell in the centre.

 

My biggest concern is that the place cards might blow out. The size of them are 2" square. Any suggestions for that?

 

These are pretty cheap too, only $0.66 per bag, which I like considering that I'm going overboard on my OOT bags.

 

What do you think?

maybe you could bring a hot glue gun and glue the card when you get there?

Could you tie the card onto the handles with a bit of ribbon?

Very cute and a great deal! I agree that you may want to tie the placecard with a ribbon to avoid them blowing away.

The more I look at them, the more I want them!!!!

I like the idea of tying the Place card on with ribbon, as well as glueing it. I think that it is something that I have to toy with.

Now, anyone know about a cheap place to get little starfish from? The only place in Saskatchewan is Michael's and they want an arm and a leg for it.
