nueland
Well after 5 weeks of anticipation I finally got the dress I got on ebay from some factory in china. All I have to say it is the biggest mistake I have ever made and will NEVER buy a dress on ebay that is custom made. I would never recommend to anyone to buy a custom made dress from anyone on ebay...... I really should have known better, but I thought I would just give it a chance, @ least I didn't pay much at all. So back to trying to find a dress. Here is what is is supposed to look like, after getting it on ebay I found out the real dress was a Jim Hjelm and retails in the thousands: And here is a few pics of what it really looks like: the sash is supposed to be tan not silver and the flowers look like they should be on a 5 year old So sorry I just had to vent because I already cried to my poor mother..... nueland
Sorry for the HUGE pics I could not get them any smaller in photobucket.........
Agape Gems
can you post a pic of you in it? You can always change the sash, and the flower/lace part doesn't look bad to me. But you need to feel beautiful on your day, so if you really hate I say put back up for sale on ebay!
Christine
can you take it to a seamstress and see if they can work some magic on it?
A10CalGal
Hmmmm...it's hard to tell from the pics you posted what it actually looks like. Is it the material that isn't working for you?
~Melissa~
Awe that sucks. I like Christine's idea of altering it. Also did you happen to read any reviews on the ebay seller? I would leave some feedback so other girls don't get swindled by this vendor
nueland
The material is defenitly what I hate most it just isn't elegant at all!!!! The fit isn't all that bad not totally how the dress was supposed to fit. I really don't think there is any way to fix it. I will probably post it on ebay, it would be a great dress for someone else who really like the material/pattern..
boscobel
Can you post pics of you wearing it? It is so hard to tell from what you posted. I am sorry that you are so disappointed. The original dress is gorgeous!

cheese_diva
I feel so bad for you. Finding a dress is often a difficult and emotional process. Colors are sometimes difficult to distinguish on your screen.. in the first ebay photo the sash does look like it's silver, just depends on the lighting. Was there a description along with the photo? There are other girls on here that had great luck with their custom China dresses. I'm sorry you weren't pleased with the outcome. It's difficult to see from the photos that how the lace looks. Have you tried it on or are you just too disgusted with what you're seeing?
