Very cool - I am so excited for you! I just got done emailing Nicole about some questions I had. I haven't even had any time to think about decorations yet (well, I've had time to think, just not do anything!), and I am always looking for ideas! I really hope you stop in when you get back and let us know how it went, and share your pictures!

I'm considering dreams as well. I'm sure you've posted this somewhere else but how many guests are you having? Are you using the WC at Dreams or an outside WC??

I am leaning on going with the Dazzling Details and having my reception at Dreams.

we are having a smaller wedding...with only 16 people attending. We are using the WC at Dreams...and at first she was really attentive, but I haven't heard from her lately. I heard through the grapevine a while ago she was on vacation, so I am sure she has soooo much to catch up on. I have meet a few brides that have already had their wedding there and used her, and they really enjoyed her! I am not sure if they allow another coordinator to come in or not...double check before anything else.

I contacted her last week and I did recieve an auto email message stating she was on vacation but she returned my email yesterday.

The DD has worked with Dreams in the past. I was trying to see if they could work with Barcelo La Jolla de Mismaloya but they said that they have tried in the past but they were not able to for some reason. Barcelo is more affordable and I know more of my guests will stay at that hotel. I'm afraid if I go with Dreams, I'll need to pay those pricey day passes for all those who choose not to stay there.

Well, that kinda makes me mad. Why won't she email me back? I guess since I have already set it up, I don't really count anymore. I only asked one question, it's not like I am bridezilla!! I may have to turn into one, if I can't get any answers out of her smile105.gif

Oh well...How much were you told the passes are??

Too bad you're so far away. Don't feel bad though, its the same type of email that she sent me weeks ago. All she did was attach the same packages that she did the first time!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
