Kelie - Daniela's been responding to my emails from romance1@paradisusrivieracancun.com.mx

I really like her and am feeling quite confident in her. Let me know if you have any more questions.

I got a nice surprise today when the daughter and boyfriend of my dad's cousin that had to cancel booked their trip and are going to surprise her 2 sisters that are coming down. So my number stays at 25.

Hi PRC Brides. I'm a newbie - but so glad I've discovere this board. FI and I are debating between Paradisus Riviera Cancun and Dreams Riviera Cancun. The more I read and look the more confused I'm getting. Anyone else look at DRC? What made you pick PRC? Thanks!

CMJ - just do a lot of research between the two boards for the resorts. It really helped me by looking at peoples actual wedding pictures! Good luck

We were going to work with Luxe but honestly, as long as the hotel as a wedding coordinating dept, you can really do it yourself and save the $$$ :) I also heard from a friend that they upcharge you for everything bc they get kickbacks - you should be getting the most from your $$ - especially in this economy!
The wedding specialist through destination weddings is actually free, but you are right, I will need to pay attention to the prices she gives me in case of kickbacks. We will just have to let each other know what kind of prices we are all getting to keep them honest! Good luck to everyone!

Yes no complaints whatsoever through destinationweddings.com - she gets response really fast from the resort... if anyone wants her info.. let me know :)

Questions - is anyones maid of honor married? I know in a traditional wedding they are suppose to be matron of honor, but how about for a destination wedding.... ?? Do you still call them matron of honor??

I would have to agree ... matron of honor.

Right now I am doing everything on my own. If you use destionweddings.com, do they also have to be your travel agent? I already have a TA and love him.

Avong - they do not have to be your travel agent.. they just go back and forth with the resort to help you get a deal and talk to their contacts there. You do have to book your room through them though at the resort... everything else you can do on your own!

it's called Quick Trim - it's a cleanse and diet pills - not sure if it's that healthy for your body though.

Have you tried the South Beach diet or have you read "Naturally thin" by Bethanny Frankel? I LIVE by these 2 things - along with the gym.
I've also found that by cutting back on my weight training and increasing my cardio helps too.
