Wendy Hicks was sooo great to work with!! I didn't realize when I decided to do a destination wedding how much work goes into it! Wendy was a HUGE help with all of this! She was so easy to get ahold of. She answered any questions my guests and I had. Everything went very smoothly. I didn't have any problems. I was a little worried because a lot of my guests hadn't traveled outside the US and they were nervous about what to do, but Wendy had a transfer service set up and they held up a sign for our wedding group right outside of the airport, so it was a very easy process for everyone. I am also very glad she was able to handle all the guests payment information. That was one thing I know would have stressed me out the most, but she took care of all of it! I'm also very indecisive (sorry Wendy) and at the last moment I decided to do a legal ceremony instead of symbolic one, so she had to change my room dates last minute. She was SO helpful with this! She contacted the hotel right away and everything worked out great! I also asked her opinion on which resort to got to for our honeymoon. She suggested El Dorado Royale which was AMAZING!! We are wanting to go there again it was so great! She really knew a lot about the location and gave some great advice! Even if you are an organized person, I highly recommend using a travel agent and not trying to do this alone. You will be VERY glad you did! Planning a wedding should be about having fun picking out details and you shouldn't have to worry about booking everyone. Wendy was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her!!
