Pros: The layout of this resort is breath taking. You see the beauty where ever you walk Staff go out of their way to be friendly, efficient and speedy.
Cons: Pool steps are a bit dangerous. Some restaurants closed certain nights.

Just married at the Now Sapphire July 6th 2012 in the evening. We had 85 guests attending.

This is the most gorgeous resort we have been to in this part of the Cancun, Riviera Maya or Playa Del Carmen area. We have been to quite a few.

The Service in every department was incredible. Always extremely pleasant and speedy. In the evening they have security riding around checking to see if people walking are OK, they have a radio type communication with each other that is always in their ear.

The lay out of the resort cannot be matched, it is breezy and open allowing you always to be enjoying the outside and inside beauty of the place. The Market Cafe has fabulous food which changes daily and everything is fresh. The fruit is out of this world. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Blue water grill is open for breakfast and lunch and dinner. Other restaurants just for dinner. Our room was delightful and clean if you have a problem they are up there in minutes to fix. Amazing service. We were in the preferred section which really is not a section just a few extra amenities. We had 85 guests attending and staying here and most were not in the preferred category and they enjoyed the same beautiful rooms and service that we did. Of course we had requested ocean front, but many had a wonderful garden view. The beds were extremely Comfortable this is a real plus after a busy day... IMPORTANT: If you need a ride anywhere on the resort you just call for transportation and then send an extended golf cart...which is great if you have trouble walking or tire easily. Also my Aunt needed a wheel chair to move around within the resort itself. The Concierge desk will take care of this for you. A small daily fee but well worth it. You do not lift a finger, they insist on doing everything for you. This is all included in your inclusive package. You literally could come without a cent while enjoying the resort. HOWEVER: We tipped because they work so hard to make everything so relaxing and it is a nice way to show your appreciation. Ivan is the guy in charge of the beds, he is great. We had a favorite bar waiter that served most of us from the pool. Oh my gosh you must look for Lemuel.  Give him a tip and you will never want for a drink.........greatest!!!!

NOW A COUPLE OF MINOR CONS

The Steps going into the pool are all tile and tend to get slippery. The edge of each step is not straight but rather a bit of a slant. Really need to have strips of rough material on the edge to help. Countless numbers of people were slipping and sliding down these stairs. My opinion it is a law suit waiting to happen. Hold on tight to the railing go very slow and watch each step you take. The pool is fantastic!!!! otherwise.

NEXT: Restaurants are not all opened every night. which makes it difficult to eat different types of food. Fresco's service was extremely slow and by 9:00 pm were out of a couple of meal choices.

SUGGESTION:  when making reservations ask them to make sure the Air Conditioning is on before you arrive. They might tell you they do not know what room you have been assigned but believe me they know about 1 week before you arrive.  It took a day and a half for ours to cool down to an acceptable temperature. Don't let them tell you it is the certain buildings duct work. We had friends in the same building #2  and their rooms were wonderfully cool. Room 210 and 214 were very warm for over a day. Room 210 was preferred. You don't spend much time in your room this is why I call it a minor concern.

WE WILL GO BACK AGAIN, NO QUESTION ABOUT IT.
