We were lucky enough to travel here November 2010 for my grandparent's 50th anniversary. It's a gorgeous resort with well kept gardens and many pools. We tended to stick to the beach with our snorkel gear and enjoyed the fish. Bring some crackers from the buffet and they will come right up to you. Pretty wild!

The rooms were large and I really liked the decor. It seemed more modern than some other resorts I've stayed at in Mexico.

Food was awesome. Breakfast being my favorite. We did reservations for the French restaurant as well as the Seafood and Mediterranean. With the French being my favorite. They are very strict with dress code as my Uncle and husband were denied for wearing khaki shorts. Their own fault, they were trying to be rebels and see if they could get away with it. LOL Obviously not!!!

My grandparents did a vow renewal along the north side of the resort along the rocks during sunset. It was so private and felt like we were all by ourselves. We did this on our own and no wedding package was purchased or anything. It was very sweet. 

Although it's not an adult only inclusive there was an adult only pool which suprisingly wasn't very busy. There were so many well behaved children at this resort during our stay. I was really impressed. Not sure if its because they had lots of options to keep them entertained or because it's a nicer resort. 

If you're up for walks we did a walk one morning down the shore to the south where there is an old abandoned resort. The water is amazing there and so picturesque. I'll try to add some photos soon.
