Pros: Communication, service, food! AMAZING
Cons: None
We initially reached out to Blue Venado a bit less than a year ago when we decided to get married in the Mayan Riviera and we realized that resort wedding packages were not giving us what we wanted - a private setting with unlimited time and no vendor fees, this on top of avoiding resort day passes for all my guests that were not staying at the same place due to having a mix list between Canadians and Mexicans.   We were very pleased with how quickly they were responding to my emails and also

Hi everyone! Since I used this site quite a bit to find reviews about vendors and wedding sitse for my destination wedding in Riviera Maya, I figured I should write a review for the benefit of future brides.   My now-husband and I were looking for a place to have a destination wedding in the Mayan Riviera. Since we had family flying in from the US, Argentina and Spain, our first thought was to do it at an all-inclusive resort, since we figured that way we could have guests stay there and have th

We had our wedding last week at the Blue Venado and wow, what a dream wedding it was. I had read up on the beach club on this forum and after speaking with Daymar and our wedding coordinator about the venue, we decided to proceed with booking it. I was a little nervous as there is not much information out there regarding BV but wow, let me tell you once we set foot there for our food tasting, we were speechless. It's a rather big open air palapa that is about 10 feet away from the ocean - just b

Pros: food, natural beauty
We had our wedding ceremony and reception with about 40 guests at Blue Venado Feb. 2014.  Wonderful experience!!!   The location is breath taking.  We visited a few days before the wedding and when my husband (then fiance) walked down to the beach he was literally speechless.  It is 100% private (hard to find in the area), surrounded by lush jungle on one side, and blue ocean on the other.  The ceremony took right on the beach and the reception in a large palapa (big thatched roof hut/open air

Pros: Gorgeous Beach, 100% Privacy, Homemade Pasta
Blue Venado turned out to be one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding.  We had the venue all to ourselves.  Our ceremony was exactly how we envisioned - a ceremony on the secluded Caribbean beach.  The mother nature worked its wonders on our wedding day.  The super moon lit up the night sky and we saw a big turtle laying eggs on the shore!  Our guests loved the food.  We had a four-course meal, each with a huge portion.  We actually went back after the wedding just to hang

Pros: rustic, secluded, private, service
When we pictured our wedding we knew it would be on a private beach, somewhere rustic and naturally beautiful and ideally under a giant palapa. We had been to the Riviera Maya several times and had a few ideas of where to look but most of our original possibilities weren't working out for one reason or another. We didn't want to be locked in to any vendors. We wanted to plan and decorate to our liking. We wanted freedom and options. Our wedding coordinator, the amazing Erica Bressan of Wed
