Past LC brides: Do any of you have a detailed list of the types of liquor, wine, beer, cocktails, soft drinks, ect that are available during the reception. I want to make a sign of what is available to our wedding guests. Thanks in advance!

Wedding date and resort is officially booked!! We are getting married at LC March 24th and our group is staying at Riu Jalisco in Nuevo Vallarta. After everyone goes home, the hubby and I will be going over to Now Amber for our honeymoon :-) Colors for the wedding are mint, coral/peach, ivory with touches of lace, wood and burlap. Lots of candles, soft lighting. Theme is vintage travel so if any of you have pictures from LC weddings with colors/themes like this I would love to see them!!

I heard back from Lizbeth of Adventure Weddings so I finally have contact with someone from LC, woo hoo!! After talking with my Fiancé we decided to wait until the travel dates for Spring 2015 to come out to lock down our wedding date. Our travel agent said dates should be out in April/May. I'm bummed to wait that long to send out Save the Dates but everyone is aware that we will be getting married next spring and I told them a certain amount to start saving. So they have no excuse!! Wedding theme I'm going for is vintage/rustic. Lots of candles, tiki torches, lanterns...lace, burlap. Colors will be aqua, coral/peach and white.

My fiancé and I are looking to get married next March at Las Caletas in a Puerto Vallarta. I have been in touch with a travel agent near us to book our trip when the times comes. I am just curious, to any travel agents out there, when would prices for March 2015 come out?? And are there any sites you know of that might have these prices available. Travel Info: Non stop flight to/from Milwaukee (also San Francisco, Seattle, Indianapolis) Marina Vallarta/Riviera Nayarit area All Inclusive Kid friendly but not overrun with them Variety of restaurants/bars (including swim up bar) Balconies Nice beach area Would like to stay in $1,200 per person rate Any help would be appreciated!!! -Melissa

I'm looking at pictures of LC and am just wondering if the vases filled with sand and a pillar candle is included in the package price or if that is extra. Or I guess a better question would be what is all included for the dinner table decor for the reception?? Just trying to eliminate things if possible for our WC to have a better idea. Thanks!!

Thanks, I'm soon happy to finally get a date for the wedding so we can get our Save the Dates made and sent out! Then we have to wait a few months till the 2015 dates come out for travel. We are looking at either 3/2/15 or 3/3/15. Just waiting on a lil more info till we lock down the date. I believe I'm working with Lizbeth Cabrera. I think she is new but honestly looking at pictures of the weddings at LC throughout the years I'm not worried about the wedding at all :-) Especially since we have over a year to plan. And I have a ton of ideas already of course lol. Now the only thing travel wise I need to worry about is picking a resort. Most of our guests haven't been to an AI resort before so I really want to pick something amazing but still in our price range. We are wanting to stay within $1,200 p/p which I know won't be a problem but I just want t make sure the place is clean, close to one of the launch sites for the boat and satisfy our needs :-) Looking at Riu Jalisco, Now Amber (if price goes down), Iberostar Punta Mita and Velas Vallarta. Any thoughts?!?!

I just received a quote from Adventure Weddings Vallarta so I am officially on my way to become a Las Caletas Bride!!! The WC that wrote back to me is Lizbeth Cabrera. Have any of you worked with her yet?? Any info is welcome!! So excited to finally be able to get our date set <3

We are booking thru a travel agent for all of our guests. Since some of our guests have different schedules/pricing caps we are giving them the option of booking a 5 day stay or a 7 night stay all at the same resort. We are looking at Riu, Now Amber or Dreams. Velas Vallarta is a possibility as well and depending on price the new Iberostar Punta Mita. We will most likely be getting our STD invites out once our LC date is booked, then will provide wedding details/vacation booking info on our wedding website. Excited to keep in touch and compare notes!! What wedding colors/ideas are you thinking so far?? -Melissa

We are still waiting to hear back from Adventure Weddings about a specific wedding date so once that is set we will be getting everything in line. I believe we are just going with the photography package with Adventure Weddings. Especially for the price :-) We are keeping in contact with a travel agent as well about vacation packages, she said they won't be out for Spring 2015 till March-May :-( Hopefully they will be out sooner than later!! I LOVE Dreams and Now Amber but not sure they will be in our price range. Maybe with a nice group rate they will be!! Excited to hear what kind of ideas you have about future LC weddings!!!!!

It definitely does seem like we have a similar timeline! I love the personalized macarenas for wedding favors and I plan on making small OOT welcome bags for our guests as well :-) Do you already have your resort booked or are you still researching? I'm just curious what kind of prices you have found since it is still over a year out. I'm getting anxious to give our wedding guests info asap!

It has only been a few days since I put in a request but I guess I'm just anxious to get the site booked (even tho we aren't getting married till next March/April)! I have been to LC with my fiance a few years back for Rhythms of the Night and thought it was breathtaking back then :-) So excited picturing our wedding here now! I agree with you for sure, idk if I can wait till 3 months prior to plan most of the details!! Oh speaking of, does the WC take care of EVERYTHING for you if you want (flowers, centerpieces, favors, decorations, signs, favors, ect)? I just don't know how much stuff I feel like bringing with me on the way down!

I just put in a quote for LC a few days ago and haven't heard anything back yet. I know they won't get back to us right away but how long did it take you girls to get responses back about reserving LC for your wedding?!? Is it still $1,000 (usd) for a deposit as well?

How long did it take you to hear back from someone in regards to booking the wedding at Las Caletas? I want to make sure we book it far enough in advance that we don't run into any issues. Especially with the growing popularity of the site! Also, how long are you staying at Dreams and how many guests do you have? Did you go through a travel agent as well??

I am also looking for info on Las Caletas. Hoping to get married between February-April 2015. Any info is welcome! Also looking for info on good all inclusive resorts. Group size between 50-80, coming from Milwaukee, Wisconsin! Family friendly is good but not overrun with kids. Nice variety, would like to stay in $1,200 per person price. Thank you in advance!! Hey Fellow LC Brides: My Fiance and I just got engaged about 3 weeks ago (we have been together 8 yrs) and we decided on a DW to Puerto Vallarta/Las Caletas!! No set date yet but I am new to the website so ANY and ALL info/advice you have for us involving DW ideas, Las Caletas or resorts is welcome and much appreciated! We have been to PV before (stayed at Riu Vallarta both times) but would love some feedback on other places. We are looking for all inclusive, nice variety of bars/restaurants in the $1,200 p/p range (we are coming from Milwaukee, WI). Somewhere kid friendly too but not run amuck by kids at the same time lol. As far as info on Las Caletas, I would love any/all info/advice you have out there. Thank you in advance :-) I am beyond excited and sooo ready for this new chapter to begin!!
