  6. From the album: Our Passport Invitations!

Was a little hesitant to do this, but why waste all that money on response cards and postage for a small wedding, (25 people) This is a little bit modern and convenient! Sure hope it works out!

  9. The food, the service, and location. It's absolutely perfect there. Not to mention, CHEAP. Our guests are paying $800 a person, for 4 Nights/5 Days (All Inclusive, including round trip Airfare from JFK) We are getting married in the slowest month of the year, it's their rainy season, but we went the same time last year, and the rain is actually enjoyable, it lasts for about 15 mins and the storms at night are awesome.. The resort has a very relaxing vibe, it's not like "Cancun" is with the clubs and partying. I believe there are 7 restaurants on site, Asian/Hibachi, French Cuisine, Mexican, a Buffet, a modern restaurant, an Italian place, and there's an outdoor restaurant that usually only serves lunch from what I remember. There's a few different bars, but if you're on the beach, employees walk around and serve you. They have plenty of entertainment for guests, each morning you will receive an itinerary under your door with a list of things to do throughout the day, what restaurants are open and drinks of the day. HMM, now onto the wedding stuff.. EVERYTHING is pretty much included in the package we chose, it's $3,000 for the wedding package. (there's 3 options) We opted to get an outside photographer, because it's our wedding, our photos have to be absolutely amazing. We saw a few weddings during our stay, and it sounded like a great idea for us to do. We've been saying for over a year, we're getting married there, and when we got engaged in October, we knew what we already wanted, so we didn't bother to second guess the idea or look for another resort. Visit this thread, it has a lot of information from past brides and brides to be, and has pretty much everything that you need to know about planning your wedding at the Now Jade. http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/topic/66415-official-now-jade-wedding-thread/ If you aren't completely sold on the Jade and still have trouble deciding, look into the Jade's sister resort, (it's like 5 mins from the Jade, little more pricey, but gorgeous) The Now Sapphire. Hope that helps! (:
  10. They both appear to be beautiful resorts, of course it's Riviera Maya! The Hard Rock is relatively new, right? So they probably don't have as much experience with Weddings, and I'm sure they're rather pricey compared to the Paradisus? I'm getting married at the Jade, we vacationed there last year, so planning is very easy because I already know so much about the place..
