I also got quoted the $12/person fee for private functions on the beach. However, I haven't heard of the $60/per table fee... seems a bit redundant. -
Hola playacar brides, I am getting married at playacar palace May 2014! I had a question for those of you who have been down there. For my reception I was originally planning to get a light up dance floor on the beach, but after seeing some pictures of the deck on the beach I'm thinking that might be the best option? It seems like it's more roomy and would spare me the cost of the dance floor. Any advice from brides who have had events on either the beach or the deck?? Thanks so much!

Hola! I have recently booked my wedding at Playacar Palace for May 4, 2014! We are planning to have 75 guests. I have been reading tons of reviews and blogs, so I figured I'd join the party! I am planning to do a site visit in the next couple months. Does anyone know if you can select the locations for ceremony/cocktail hour/ reception during the site visit? Congrats to all the other brides! How exciting!
