    Hi Itsjuliez, Any wedding coordinator can work with you on an approximate guest count to give you and idea on pricing. Once you have your final numbers, then you can inform them as to how many people will actually attend your wedding and adjust from there. In our experience, you can expect a 30-40% guest attendance (based on your number of invites) on average. This number can fluctuate based on how far in advance you give your guests notice! Don't let a final guest count stop you from beginning the planning :) Happy Planning!

    Wow. With at least a year notice? Okay. I will be sure to have a deadline that you have to at least pay a deposit. That Is Soooo rude!

    I'm going to a DW in a few months. Yesterday the bride told me that only 6 of the 40 people invited booked. Yikes! The deadline is in two weeks. Keep in mind we received STD over a year ago. I called a few of our friends to see what the hold up was. Listed below are their reasons 4 couples gave me: (1) RSVP'd but can't attend. Haven't told the couple yet (2) (2) Hate talking to people on the phone so dreading the call to the TA (1) (3) Never intended on going. Haven't told the couple (1) I'll be keeping these excuses in mind while waiting on people to book. Personally, I'd rather you tell me you aren't coming so that I can move on.

    Any other 2014 brides here getting an early start?

    I think yellow dresses since yellow Is your.favorite color.

    I need your opinions ladies! So my color scheme for the wedding is gray and yellow. My favorite color is yellow; it makes me happy, and it's bright and i just love it haha. Anyway, I can't decide if I want my bridesmaids to wear yellow dresses, or gray dresses. I love the gray look with bright yellow flowers. But then again I really like the look of yellow dresses with my white dress and the gray casual look the guys will be wearing. What do you all think I should do?

    I love the colors!!!!

    We did a palette of blues. The resort decor package was Aqua but I knew right away I did not want Aqua dresses for the girls. The men wore Navy blue suits because my hubby chose the James Bond suit from Skyfall as his suit. For the girls, we chose Bill Levkoff Teal dresses which were not teal at all- more like a Caribbean blue. My sisters were supposed to wear the same dresses, as they were originally bridesmaids, but they dropped from my wedding and then rejoined when it was too late to get them the same dresses. They bought off the rack at a store called Camille La Vie. My maid of honor who owns a custom mens clothiers business chose the ties for the guys and it brought everything together. We kept the same color scheme for our AHR. It was just cool blues. Felt breezy. At the reception we had Aqua tablecloths with Navy blue chair ties and peacock feathers in the chair bows.     Yahoo!! Just received my confirmation to have my wedding at Secrets Wild Orchid Resort on Thanksgiving Day 2015!! My goal now is to just sit back, relax, and look for bargains and do a little DIY projects until next year. :D.[/quote ][b][/b] I am also Nov 2015 and once I save my.date I will start all.my DIY stuff early.     Congrats everyone!!! Yes I am very excited!! I will let you know about the dress Recy. I have been nervous about it! I bought the dress before we had decided Jamaica. Otherwise I would have looked for a lighter dress. It is beautiful,but weighs 9 pounds! I know I will be sweating! What have you all decided about tux,suits? We decided to buy my fiance a new suit instead of renting a tux for an extended time from the USA. Deltabelle8, I have been stressing a lot! More due so to the stress put on by family members than anything. Hence our small wedding in Jamaica. I know in the end everything will be great and yours will too. I have had every bad thing happen lately. Like crazy bad beauty issues. My best friend told me to stay home till my wedding day!! lol
    Aww. I havent actually started the planning process YET. So i dont understand your pain YET. I wish you the best.

    Hey ladies what is everyone wearing? A beachy casual dress, ball gown, a line vintage etc? Shoes barefoot sandals? I thought I wanted beachy casual but when trying on and searching I like the look of an actual gown. The so called destination dresses just don't scream wedding to me. Those with wedding party what are girls wearing? Short/long dresses? Casual? Haven't picked yet but we've been trying both long and short chiffon. are your guys wearing? Full jacket and ties? Button ups? Etc.etc? We can't decide. Thinking of linen suits but just vest not suit jacket. Maybe just the linen pants and a linen shirt. Oy..just don't no. FI is worried about being hot he is always hot. Guys wearing shoes? Mine are gonna have too he refuses to go barefoot? What about flower girls/ring bearer?
    I don't have much planned at the momnt but my dress. I am in love with the color green and have found a beach casual dress that I live for! I am still looking around so far I'm.with beach casual.
