I am so excited! I got my wedding shoes today!! I had to order them from the US but they were totally worth it!! All I want to do is put them on and dance around the house! Hopefully I'm not the only one who is crazy like that

Most Bridal stores sell them. The store my dress comes from sells them for around $15 so I pick up one at David's Bridal for $10.

I would get your travel agent to contact them, sometimes they are faster to talk to them. They are super busy there and can take a couple of weeks to reply to emails.

I have to agree with you on the cake! I am going to being a cake topper, but I am loving the flower idea as well! Hmmmmm I may just have to copy you on this one!! I was also thinking that something beachy would be cool like some seashells just not too sure how hygienic that would be.

Such a pretty dress! and I love that it looks like a wedding dress! there are so many short wedding dresses that look like they could be worn anywhere. This one is GREAT!!

I dont have to worry about getting anything notarized. I know a lawyer who notarized my stuff for free One less thing to worry about!

I agree that hair pieces/veils are very confusing. I am still trying to decide on what to do..I know I don't want a traditional veil, but I am undecided between a birdcage or fasinator or flower, or a combination of two. I will probably wait until my dress comes in and then try on different things at the bridal store just so I can see what I like and don't like with my dress.

Really?? Courier only? I was told email was fine, but that was by Stephanie (not sure if she is there anymore as I only get replies now from Vinnette) I was also told that they don't need any of this info to be sent to them until 3 months before your wedding date. I have everything ready for them, to be sent in January. Do I need to sent it earlier? Dutchess... have you priced out how much it would be to courier something to them?

LOL sorry my confusion. either way its fun! We also have the same perks as you! But we are in the Royal Golden section....not sure if they are the same section or not. I do have a dress...two actually one I got the first time I went out dress shopping and was in happy dress mode and purchased it on impulse..and surprise surprise I hated the dress a month later..so I went out and looked again and now I have my dress that I LOVE! which is on order and I have the one I don't really like hanging in my closet that I am trying to sell! I felt really bad about this since I have basically spent double my dress budget but I have heard that this happens to many brides so I'm trying to not be too upset about it!! OK..enough about my dress drama! Do you have a dress yet??

That's Awesome! Yes I am going to be a Walsh...I'm assuming that there will be two Walsh weddings then on our day?....hopefully there wont be any confusion between our two weddings We have 26 ppl coming so far! But we do have a few ppl waiting for last minute deals, and a few from out of the country, so we should have about 30 people in the end. As for sky lanterns I was originally all for them, but my FI didn't like the idea of potentially causing a fire somewhere if they went inland. So we are not going to do them. After dinner I figured we would just go to one of the bars, and go to the disco after if we feel like it. We are trying to keep things pretty simple.

Do you have to provide your own paper if you want a different color for the menus? Or do you think they will just do it themselves if you ask??

Did you confirm that you are aloud to use the sky lanterns? I know many resorts do not let you use them since they are a potential fire hazard. I am considering getting them as well but haven't checked with the WC if they permit them there.

Your dress is amazing!! you look wonderful in it! What type of flowers did you have? They look exactly like what I have been looking for!

We asked what the 'live music' was before we made a decision about it! But we were hoping for the steel drum band since we were planning on paying extra for that anyway. I do agree that it is sometimes hard to get a straight answer from them sometimes, but my TA told me to include her in any emails if we were having trouble, so far we haven't had to do this but if you are having trouble I would have your TA be included in the conversation that might help out! Personally I would think that as long as you are willing to pay the price it shouldn't matter what food you want to bring in. Hope things work out

To tell you the truth, I really don't like having to pay for an open bar at an all inclusive resort. I realize that its is the bartender and not the booze your paying for but I priced it out and I didn't really find it to be much better than the unforgettable for the difference in price
