How come a lot of people do receptions there off site? I noticed the highest package was less than 2k so I figured they get you with add ons of some sort...everywhere else seems to be more cut & dry with their pricing.

I just received their package prices and can't figure out the cost! There are so many add ons etc I can't figure put what's included what bar fees apply and don't or what dinner menu is included if any?? Help!!! Lol

Ok you guys have officially made me feel better!! The more time I spent looking I feel like the key is to find a package that includes a lot versus a cheaper place and getting hammered with add ons. Seems like the brides that return mention everything being beautiful and the stressing out wasn't necessary. I'm so glad I found "yous guys"(I'm from jersey so had to throw that in there lol)

Hello all! I just got engaged and always imagined a DW wedding, since I'm not a conventional kind of gal:) also, since we will be paying for this ourselves I thought, bonus, nice & affordable! Now I'm starting to worry that this may cost more than a regular wedding! Between all the add ons needed like photographers, etc...I'm worried I can't afford this either. A lot of packages I'm seeing are only a 1 hour reception, hardly enough time to even talk to guests let alone dance & celebrate. Am I missing something? If I planned 10k including my travel cost is that even doable anywhere? I can't pick a date or destination cause I have no idea where I can pull this off. So overwhelmed. Sorry for my negative nancy rant I know I'm in the right place for help...

Hello All, you guys all seem so great and im excited to be apart of your community and start planning... Ok, so here's the deal. We just got engaged and are excited to start planning our DW, but have no idea where to go. We are having a large group (probably over 50-60), no children, beach wedding, all coming from the East Coast (Philly area) and want to keep the cost down since so many of our friends and family want to join us. Does anyone know where I can expect to pay 1000-1300 per person for a week stay at an AI from my area? Since we are planning on getting married in April or May of 2014, rates dont seem to be available yet.
