I don't know if this is considered a tip, but I used a site called http://hospitalityframes.com for my themed favors and they really helped me out. I got custom themed everything at good rate. I also would used alot of local small businesses in my area and they were more flexible with rates. My advice is to tell your potential vendors your budget upfront and that should hall avoid mark up.

Those are so awesome. I don't know where you got them but I'm trying to replicate that theme with http://hospitalityframes.com I hope they are as jaw dropping as those.
