Thanks for the advice. I am that bride with the anxiety of a wedding dress because I went to one store and was just looking at dresses in a bag and started having heart palpitations...lol!!!! I will make an appointment to go very soon. I just wanted to get my save the dates out in the mail. I guess I can stop stalling now.

Wow....everyone, literally, looks fantastic in their dresses. I haven't even started looking yet! I wanted to go in November, but I see some of you brides bought your dresses a year in advance. I'm scared...lol!!!!! Everyone looks amazing.

I think the dress is beautiful and you look beautiful in it. Don't change it.

I ended up going with a lady based out of Delaware. My soon to be father-in-law has friends that own a travel magazine and they put me in touch with her. Her rates are great and I can call her anytime.

Finally, I feel like everything is moving along in the right direction. I found a fantastic travel agent who is on point. We had such a hard time even trying to get a decent TA to help us. Me and mother worked hard on the save the dates, which made me realize that I am not a DIY bride.....lol. Although they were fun they were a lot of work. We finally got them mailed out on Saturday. I will post pics soon. Now I'm working on the wedding website and trying to get that finished. I just feel like a huge burden has been lifted off our shoulders and now the fun stuff can begin, which is dress shopping. I love this website. I get so many good ideas from here and everyone is just so nice and happy. I'm happy I joined. Happy planning everyone!

What I'm doing is when I send out the save the dates I am not including the accommodations pricing for children, maybe they will get the hint that way without me actually having to say spell it out on the invitation....LOL! If they do ask then I will tell them that they can bring kids, but it's their responsibility to find a babysitter out there because kids cannot attend the wedding. Hope this was helpful

There are too many kids in our family, which is very costly. The only kids at our wedding will be our own 2 children who will be ages 15 and 6. Another reason why we chose not to have kids at the wedding is because we want it to be beautiful and peaceful for us and our guests. That's why we chose July because it's easier for people to find a babysitter during that time then during school time. We will still give guests the option of bringing their kids, but they cannot attend the wedding.

My fiance chose this ring all by himself. He knew that hearts were my favorite and he looked for months for the perfect ring and when he saw this he knew it was the one. This ring is absolutely gorgeous and so unique to me. I love this ring and I love him for knowing me. I can't wait to marry him. This ring is more beautiful than than the pictures.

Ladies, Thank you for your responses. We are soooo frustrated right now because trying to get information from travel agencies that includes everything is not working out. We feel like we are under the gun because we want people to be able to budget to come to our wedding. One travel agent we have spoken to has given us quotes, but when asked about airfare, she stated that rates go down usually 3 months before travel. What???? Our guests do not want to book the accommodations and then now they have to figure out how to get there. We also tried one person at Liberty Travel who was just so unprofessional and she is supposed to be the veteran of destination weddings with at least 20 years experience and she didn't even have the decency to call us back at all. We also looked into Apple vacations, but they want a deposit before they will even help you. If any of you brides can please direct us to someone that you highly recommend we would greatly appreciate it. We would like to get our save the dates out in the next couple of weeks. We can't do any of the fun stuff until we get the travel plans set in stone. Thank you ladies and I apologize for the long rant. CokonLove

I have a question.... When you guys are booking your travel arrangements for your guests are the travel agencies only giving you accommodations costs or are they giving you flight information as well?
