  1. Talked to FH and he doesn't want to do the hangover kits I originally wanted so I'm going to have the pass. Thanks for the quick response.
  2. If the previous poster doesn't take, I may be interested in the entire lot.
  3. Would you say this runs true to size or run small?
  4. Thanks a great idea!!! Especially after a night of partying and you just want something to munch on.
  5. Yes, I am planning on having some koozies made but my fiance thought the tylenol, band aids, toiletries, etc were a waste of money. There is a Walmart directly across the street and I know most of my guests will be going there for breakfast foods as the condos have full kitchens. Love the cards idea! Thanks!
  6. I'm having a destination wedding except my location is another state within the U.S. I'm from Texas, but having my wedding in Panama City Beach, FL as most of our guests could not or would not fly overseas. I've searched the boards and found many wonderful OOT bags, but most of the contents I feel don't exactly apply to me. I can understand sunscreen, meds, etc when you're in another country, but this doesn't really transfer over to Florida. My wedding is in April 2013 so it's not exactly warm yet so sunscreen is out..guests readily have access to meds. I was thinking welcome letter, directions to ceremony and restaurant, maybe some mini liquor bottles, snacks, but what else? Any suggestions? Thanks!
  7. torilynnsmith Where did you find your veil? I am looking for a lace veil to go with my satin dress (no lace).
  8. Thanks everyone for taking the time to respond and add your photos. I'm still on the fence about this, but it's nice to hear everyone's opinions. Thanks ladies!
  9. My cousin got married on PCB a few years ago. We wanted to go overseas somewhere, but the hassle of our families getting passports and flying just wasn't going to happen so we settled on Florida as a good compromise. The water is still beautiful and the pictures look amazing. I've never been, but I'm driving out in November to check it out.
  10. Should my groom wear a boutonniere if he's wearing a short sleeve shirt with no jacket? Now that I actually thought about it, all the pics I've seen, the grooms are wearing in on their suit jackets?
  11. I went ahead and switched to white. Groom hates ivory shirt and my wedding is at sunset so the candlelight would have looked darker. I'd rather be safe with the white and have a cohesive look. Thanks for your comments.
  12. I have pretty much everything done. I using a wedding coordinator for the ceremony (www.prwedding.com). I'm just taking my guests to dinner afterwards (no reception) and then planning at at home reception for about a month later with DJ, dancing, etc. Only problem I'm having is finding an airbrush makeup/hair stylist to come to me. I currently booked a salon about 5 minutes from the resort I'm staying at, but I'd rather someone come to me. Upon searching the boards last night, I did come across a great silk flower website to order my flowers from: www.wedideas.com Groom wants fresh, but I don't want to have to deal with those, plus they are more expensive. How about you?
  13. Thank you!!! I just changed it to white. I would rather have it be white than stand out from my groom and I figured it would look even darker on the beach at sunset.
  14. Thank you. I just went ahead and changed it to white. I was having so many doubts that the dress would like even darker at sunset on the beach and that I would stick out in photos in a diferent color than my groom. I'd rather have a cohesive look. I feel much more relieved now. Whew!
  15. Ok, so I found my dress, but now I'm doubting the color and I'm starting to freak out. This is the Mori Lee #1664 satin in Candlelight. It looks more champagne on me in one photo and it looks more ivory in the next. It does have more of a pink tone as the ivory had too much yellow and I didn't like that. I really didn't even notice it was a different color until I saw it next to a bunch of other dresses in my dressing room. I had originally planned on my groom wearing a white linen short sleeve shirt, but I think it won't "match" me now. He doesn't like ivory and says its "too yellow". He is driving me insane and I wish he would cooperate with ivory, but looks like that isnt going to happen. The sample they had in store was only the candlelight. So should I keep the color I have: or possibly try to change it to white. Here is a bride (NOT ME) in the dress in the white color.
  16. Should I change my dress color?
  17. This is the dress I've put a deposit down on. I keep having doubts about the color now. It's a Mori Lee 1664 in Candlelight. The white was so stark white and the ivory was very yellow. This color was close to the ivory but with more pink than yellow hues. Sorry for the deer in headlights look- I wasn't looking when the pic was taken. Now I'm going back and forth on what color my groom should wear- I know that's another topic!
