  1. Keep trying.. you will get it and they will look great! The OOT bags are really adding up!
  2. hi.. where did you find the photo booth? I dont' see it on Lomas Travel. Sounds fun!
  3. I am using destinationweddings.com and once I had my block of rooms from the hotel set aside, I urged all guests to get the group room rate that will be less expensive then booking later on. I told them that I couldn't guarantee how many rooms beyond the original 20 I could get and they would be smart to book one of them now. It worked and we booked all 20 rooms within 3 weeks. Any room that didnt get booked in the first 4 weeks my FI and I would have to pay the deposit of 100 for each room. I didn't want to have to do that if I didn't have to. Oh, Elizabeth "Cookie" Randall is my WC/TA there and she's awesome!
  4. I found the luggage tags but where are you getting the room key holders and coil bracelets from? They both sound like good deals. Thanks. Has anyone used the coil bracelets from oriental trading co? Very inexpensive but wondering if they are too small for adults wrists.
  5. That sounds WAYYY to high to me. Our rooms are averaging about 150 per night for the luxury Jacuzzi suite which most of my guests are staying in. My FI and I are paying 1638.00 each for our Swim Up suite for 7 nights and we are doing the free wedding package. Obviously things will add up but that's the basics for us for now. We are 6 days behind you!
  6. Hi.. for those of you who have been there already. I'm looking at ordering the room key/ ID holders that close. Does the room key from Azul fit into the standard size holder (business card size)? Also, do we need tip money there? I was told that tips are included. Thanks. Dawn
  7. Nothing... Alfresco is the Mexican restaurant and the Terrace is the outside area of the restaurant. That's what I was told..
  8. hi.. I was just looking at the overwhelming banquet kit. I'm looking at the BBQ deluxe dinner and the Petit Gourmet and it looks like a good deal. Do you girls think it's tacky to have a buffet for the reception? AND, if any of you have, was the food good and the setup nice. My reception is at the Zocalo Terrace. I can have the buffet there right? Thanks
  9. Are you all making your own Menu to place at each seat? Don't they include that for us? I thought I read somewhere that a personalized menu was part of the packages for the reception. AND, if you did use the ones they provided, were they nice?
  10. Are you sure you can get the Maracas there? I would assume being in Mexico! I was going to order them before hand and take them down there but anything I can buy once I get there will definitely help!
  11. Thanks for the reply... you "went into town?" I was thinking of that but didnt want to get caught not finding what I needed. Is it easy to find "stuff" for centerpieces there? How far was town and which town did you go to? I think it will be too heavy and difficult to pack the glass vases. Please let me know where you found them. Thanks so much. This board is so fabulous!
  12. Thank you for sharing this.. they are beautiful... one question though, can you bring that glass on the plane? I didn't think you can for safety reasons.
  13. I need help with centerpieces. Are most of you getting them from Lomas? They are so expensive and I will probably have 8 tables. I'd love to make my own but not sure how to get them down there... any advice ladies?
