    You HAVE to put your foot down. It is YOUR day! And, people should be understanding when it comes to the wedding and reception. Obviously if tagalongs want to go to Mexico while their friends are there at the same time, fine, but they should know that they cannot participate in ANY wedding-sponsored events! Uncool!

    I like interspersing toasts during dinner - good idea! Is anyone doing a buffet? I wonder if that kind of plan would work with a buffet service...

    Try www.uponourstar.com. You can register for "wishes" and people contribute toward your wish -- a new kitchen; furniture for the house, landscaping, a new car, etc. You can ask people to donate in increments of as small as $20. It's great

    Try Nuevo Vallarta in Mexico - The Allegro resort is great. Not sure about the prices nowadays, but they do group rates, etc.
