Someone suggested that I should wear flats to the gazebo on the beach (where we are getting married) then take them off so your feet is in the sand in a shady spot. This way you can chose to slip them back on if necessary. I'm not sure about how that would look to guests though...

I am giving the moms things similar to the bridesmaids.... they are all getting a personalized bracelet, "bridesmaid" or "mother of the bride" (or whatever) tank top (DIYd), barefoot jewelry (DIYd), lip balm, tropical-flavored hand lotion, and so on. Then my BM and MOH are getting some specific things. The moms are each getting a pashmina each as well. My FMIL, who I am very close with and who is SO supportive, is also getting a special necklace (we get each other a necklace on every trip we take apart). The dads are getting a "father of the bride" hat, personalized t-shirt.  We also wrote personal notes for people. I wrote one for each parent, and one to his parents, and one to each of my siblings. He is an only child, and wrote one to his parents. I think they will appreciate that more than most gifts anyway. After the wedding, at our AHR, we are going to give each set of parents (and the grandparents) nice picture frames with a wedding picture in it,

Will the sand in Punta Cana in March be too hot for my feet? I love the barefoot sandals, but I don't want to hop down the aisle like a bunny lol...I have never been to a sandy beach before, so I don't know what to expect...

You can do it.  I went to the chit chat forum and they have a lot of jokes, rants, general stuff that you can post about.... even if its just a smiley face.  I got alot of my posts that way. Good luck!

Yeah i'm pretty shocked how much they want to charge for things, thank god we're getting some credits from the travel agent so the money will even out but I plan to bring some of the stuff

Hi Ladies!!!  I was waiting to post my OOT bag pics until I got the last piece...and I just got my stadium cups the other day.  I figure the only way to thank everyone for all of the things that I've read on this site was to post my own and hope that someone gets one good idea from them.  This is still a rough draft of them (since I still have a couple months left), but you'll get the idea.  Here they are...

I have started to create my OOT bags. I will post my first step, ironing on the decal, here and will update with more pictures! They are coming together really nicely! Printed onto the iron-on sheets, cut out around the palm trees. Ironed onto Bag! I will have wording to iron on this weekend, and then I will post some of the items I am going to put in them! I am really excited about them!

Soooo .... Can someone fill me in exactly how this 150 post thing works? Correct me if I am wrong, but if I post 150 posts...... I THEN get the access to open attachments that all of you put with the templates? Did I miss anything?
