So are we.... With strict.... NO GIFT POLICY! We just want to toast with those who couldn't travel n share pictures! Plus, I get to wear my dress again!

Kinda like ugly babies. You're supposed to pretend there are no ugly babies, but sometimes you see one that challenges that idea!

I don't have any pictures of my veil on me yet at the ceremony but I wore a fingertip length veil so as not to interrupt and take away from my ruffles on my dress, it was a shimmery material and also had swarovski crystals scattered throughout it, I was considering putting weights on it but I actually forgot about doing it. Shockingly there was NO wind on our wedding day, I had told my MOH to tuck it into my dress if the wind took it and blew it in my face but there was no problem at all! The rhinestones on the belt on my dress did keep attaching to the veil and would pull my head a bit but I got used to it and just would gently pull it off the belt.  Here are a few pics of my dress veil combination:

At least once a month he'll catch me off guard when it comes to a random wedding detail, I'm always amazed at the things he actually cares about and pays attention to. Anyway, thanks for the input ladies. I made an appt and I'm taking my dress on a field trip to try on veils.

I'm doing beach ceremony at 4pm and reception at Portofino's

 I'm doing my STD holders as well as my boarding pass invites! I just googled "boarding pass template" and found one to start playing around with. My FI is the same and has already taken on the duty of stamping the palm tree on the front of the holder I like that he is willing to help.. I just hope it lasts and he doesn't get bored lol I'm nervous that the time is going to fly by.. that is why I am adament about starting things early... I work 3 jobs, so finding spare time is difficult as it is.. I get more stressed out if I leave things without even having a plan.. haha

You'll get there soon enough!! Just reply to the last days posts here and you'll be a good  bit on your way! I still havent had a proper look at all the templates. Cant open them on my laptop so have to try it on the PC which has a few more programs installed. Thing is the computer is so slow and usually only have a few minutes at a time when I go online. The Boarding pass invites that I was thinking of look like they are very time consuming. Dont know if I have either the time or paticence to do them!

Yeah the magnet itself is the save the date. I did it through vistaprint! one half is a picture of us and the other side there is a starfish near the top, and the writing "Save the Date" big. And then under that our names and the date (January 2015) and destination (somewhere sunny and warm) and at the very bottom I put *formal invititation to follow* they turned out really really nice! Once I get them, which will hopefully be next week, I will try to take a picture and post it! The lame part is the quantities go up in twns until 50 and then it jumps to 100. We only really need like 60, but when you factor in shipping for doing two orders, it was cheaper to just get 100... lol it will be $90 plus $20 for 3 day express shipping. OOOOH b/c you have to have the buffet b/c your number of ppl. We have 31ppl coming. And I'd talk to you WC and say you're not paying for drinks for the kids since they will not be drinking....try and work a deal with the kids at least b/c they won't eat half of what is there probably and won't be drinking. Also, I heard a lot of ppl got out of the extra fee for the cake b/c I guess they cut very large pieces and there is also desert included in the ultimate package so it might be a bit too much

Which wedding coordinator do you have?? Are you going with a package? I'm doing the ultimate wedding package and my WC told me $66 extra per person for the whole thing and that they don't charge for children. And I'm taking all of my emails from my WC with the prices so that if they try and pull some sh*t that I'm going to say I have it in writing. Make sure to stick to your guns. The DJ sent me the form, do you want me to fwd it to you?

Should he do flip flops or shoes.... Considering we will be in the sand?

these are really nice & minimal too. So you still feel almost barefoot.

I'm getting nervous about the cost of my wedding... I feel like the resort is charging so much for each n every little thing;( I wish I had known ahead of time.... I sooo would have booked at jellyfish, sounds like u get a lot more for your money!
