  1. @shannonmarie - Sooo excited for you, enjoy every moment!!
  2. What time does everyone plan (or already booked) to make their make-up/hair appointment? Our wedding is at 4pm and I need to book by Friday. I want to make sure I have enough time, but i also don't want my make-up to melt off!
  3. I tried to do a search on this, in case it was already answered, found this question but no answer. Does anyone know the length of aisle runner needed for the Pergola?
  4. What I had to do was have my travel agent get ahold of our regional vacation rep from amresorts, they got ahold of Pilar who responded to me pretty quickly and set up a conference call (which she never called me)... i was a little too frustrated after that to call myself, as I am in the same boat as you and NEED to know my budget before I leave, so my travel agent set up a 3rd call (after 2 missed calls) and refused to get off the phone until Pilar was available. We had a scheduled call for 1:30 and she finally got on the phone around 2:05pm...we did get all my questions answered and she promised to send the documents by the next day. Not sure if you want to take it that far...but our budget is tight and our guest list was a little larger than expected, so i had to do something to get an answer. Good Luck, i'll cross my fingers for ya! Exciting about the bag situation, i'm a little worried, but my parents have offered up stuffing things in their bags too so we don't have to pay too much extra.
  5. I contacted the spa regarding when to schedule appointments and Freddy emailed me back immediately and said to make the appointment a month before. Good Luck and congrats!!
  6. Anything that is considered 'set-up' (i.e. the $500 fee for the private dinner in my case because i have your moments; ceremony setup; etc..) is not taxed, neither is the Judge Transportation, Apostille (if your ceremony is legal) and Blood tests. Otherwise on my contract as of now, everything else is taxed. We aren't having too many extras, so others may know more!
  7. Thanks for the info. I plan to do just the white seat covers. How come they are charging you $ 200 for set up? The contract Pilar sent me states it as Ceremony Set up : Canopy whtie white fabric, and chairs with white cover $200

  9. AMAZING pictures!! You look gorgeous....congratulations!!
  10. Oh my gosh! How many people are you having that you are being charged $200 for set up? 40 guests, but I have the your moments. Also, I have the spa menus but I'm on a iPad, so I can't attach right now. I could send it to you in an email or try & paste it in when I'm on an actual computer Monday. Just let know
  11. Yes, depending on which chairs you get they charge per chair after the 25 if that's the number your package includes. If you are just having the plain white chair covers (which I'm doing) with no extras, they are charging me $200 extra for set up. Hope this helps!
  12. @Lindsay -which Secrets??? We are going to Secrets Maroma for our honeymoon. Just wondering what you thought? Their Facebook page recently announced they are officially a five diamond resort, can't wait!!
  13. I appreciate you telling us, I would feel horrible if my guests got sick. Looking for cups tomorrow!!!
