    I just saw on the Dreams Punta Cana Brides facebook page that the "no outside vendor" policy will not be happening. They are suppose to be emailing brides to let them know that this policy won't be in place.

    On the Wedding Information pdf that is on their website the only center piece that is listed on the price sheet is a tall glass vase with tropical flowers for $240. The packages each come with 1 centerpiece for the bride & groom table. Here's a link to the Wedding Guide: http://www.amresorts.com/wedding_guides/drepc-wedding-guide.pdf. I have decided to make my own center pieces since I don't want to spend that much. We have a small group so I spent under $25 for 3 tables of guests and the table with our "guest book".

    For bridesmaid dresses we went to David's Bridal. My goal was under $100 and we all ended up liking a dress that was on clearance and since I had bought my dress there the girls spent less than $80. For "credit card", I didn't mean to but I used my debit card. I meant to really send my credit card but wasn't thinking the morning I sent payment to my WC and there was no problem.

    We are also using HDC photography. They have been great to work with so far in regards to setting the date with and paying for the day. As far as centerpieces we are taking our own. I found a DIY site where girls were buying vases from a Dollar Store and putting glass stones in the bottom with a fake flower and filling it with water. On the top they put a small candle and add a couple candles around the vases on the table. They turn out MUCH cheaper than the price the resort gives for centerpieces!

    For those who have gotten married or who will be getting married at the gazebo, did you decorate the gazebo for your ceremony? If so, how did you decorate? With 85 days til our ceremony I am starting to get stuff together to decorate both the ceremony and the reception. Thanks!!

    Hi girls! I am new to posting here but am getting married at Dreams in September. Does anyone have any suggestions on the menu for the reception? We have booked our photographer and are slowly getting everything together.
