Thanks Ladies. Unfortunately, we lost the baby 2 weeks before the wedding. It's been a bit nuts here on Long Island. We got back from our honeymoon and within 2 weeks were hit by hurricane Sandy. I'm just now able to post pics from Gianinar Bridal. I was extremely satisfied with my dress! It fit like a glove out of the bag, I just had to have the bustle done. Sorry again for the delay in posting! Heather

Hi Ladies, Sorry I haven't had a chance to post my Gianinar Bridal dress pictures. It's at the tailor having the bustle added. I will have the dress back on the 13th. My wedding is September 30th. Now I just have fingers crossed that it will still fit as I just found out I'm pregnant and it fit like a glove out of the bag. Hoping that there haven't been enough body changes yet so I can wear my dream dress! Heather

Thanks Ladies! I got only a few seconds to try it on this morning, didn't get pictures. Sorry! I will take some this Friday when my MOH comes over to get her dress fitted. I can tell you that they did a PERFECT job on the fit and length! I need NOTHING done but the bustle. Fit is perfect, length is perfect. Thank God they put the cap sleeves on as detachable. They went a little over the top on the detailing on the cap sleeves and they overpower the dress. I could remove some of the detailing and keep the sleeves. Haven't decided yet. Given everything, I would definitely go this route again and not look back. I will post pictures by Saturday, August 25th! Promise! Heather

My dress came last night! Beyond thrilled with the detailing. Couldn't try it on yet because FI was around and doesn't want to see it on me till our wedding day. Will be trying it on tomorrow (today is my brother's wedding, no time to try it on). Can't wait to post pictures for you ladies. Thanks for all the support throughout this process. They shipped my dress Monday and I received it Thursday. I would still recommend Gianinar Bridal because the detailing is amazing, I would just suggest you give at least a 40 days window between the date you give and your actual wedding date. I gave them August 10th as my wedding date (actually is September 30th) and it arrived August 16th. So 6 days late for my fake date, still plenty early for my real wedding. Heather

Ladies, I went down to David's Bridal to make the decision about the dress. I put the ivory/champagne and ivory/ivory next to each other. We're talking about a couple of strands difference in the lace appliques. I've decided to stay with the ivory/ivory. They did an amazing job with all the detailing. It's shipping today and I should have it within the week. I will post pictures once it arrives. Heather

Thanks! We went everywhere. Even department stores in NJ (we're in NY). Can't find the color I wanted in a size 5 boys. We went with tuxes. My son's tux we bought a few weeks ago for my brother's wedding (he's a ring bearer). Got a great deal at Men's Warehouse for by FI and best man. Total for both was $139 (rental). I appreciate the help though! Thanks! Heather

They wrote back and it's ivory with ivory lace. They stated that they can change the lace accents to champagne and asked when I need it by. I'm extremely impressed with the detail on the dress and am more worried that changing the lace might lose some of the detail that they executed perfectly. It still has the vintage look I wanted, just missing the colored accents I wanted. Opinions? Heather

Ladies, I got my photos. For some reason my post with the pictures is being held for moderation. I will try to upload as a link here. I feel the dress might be white and not ivory/champagne as I requested and sent to them in the original photo details. I don't care at this point if it's all ivory, I just can't wear white. Hi Ladies. I got pictures of my dress today. I'm thrilled with the work on the dress, but am not sure if they followed instructions and made the dress in ivory with champagne details as I requested and showed them in my detailed photos. Also, they haven't added the lace cap sleeves yet. Haven't sent them any more money, but did send an email in response asking about the color of the dress and about the cap sleeves. I'm attaching the detailed photos I sent and the pictures I just received from Gianinar Bridal. Opinions please!! Original photo I sent them. Front of dress they made. Back of dress they made. Thank you. So this is the email I sent to Gianinar Bridal this morning. I'm hoping they will live up to our agreement and I won't have to follow through with the threats. Fingers crossed it works! Good morning. I feel I have been very patient about my dress, my expectations and in my emails with you regarding how late the dress is getting to me. It is now August 10th. You sent me an email on August 6th stating my dress would be finished in 2 days (August 8th) and pictures would follow. I have not had ANY pictures. I sent you a deposit back on June 1st in good faith that you would make my dress and get me pictures in a timely manner. I don't feel you have lived up to your end of our agreement. I am now forced to DEMAND pictures of my dress by Monday, August 13th by 5pm EST or I am going to have to start a fraud claim with Paypal. I found your company through a wedding forum where brides gave honest reviews in dealing with companies in China making wedding dresses. Your reviews were outstanding, stating that your company had great communication, delivered the dresses in a timely manner and were a pleasure to deal with. I feel that due to my experience with you so far, I would have to give a less favorable and more negative review of your failure to meet a deadline and lack of pictures and communication. I am hopeful that you will send my pictures by the Monday, August 13th 2012 5:00pm EST deadline, that my dress will ship next week (between the dates of August 13th and August 17th ), that I will have my dress before August 30th, 2012 and I won't have to report my negative review of your company and services on the wedding forum that spoke of you so highly.

My dress was very detailed and I figured they might have trouble, but this is crazy. I'm sending them an email this morning stating I want pictures and ship date today. I just want my dress. I had nothing but stress this week between the dress and the suits/tuxes for the guys. I wanted tan suits and can't find a boys size 5 in the same color as my fiance or his best man. So I have to scrap the color scheme I wanted and go with black tuxes. I'm tired of stressing. Heather

Ok, so Gianinar Bridal said they needed an additional 2 days before pictures. That was up today. I'm writing them again in the morning. I need pictures and the dress. I told them my wedding was August 10th (fake date) and still no pictures or dress. Obviously not getting it in time for my fake date. Hoping it's here within the next 2 weeks. My real date isn't until September 30th. Heather

Thanks for the update Amanda. Let's keep each other informed. Hopefully they aren't screwing with us and we'll get our dresses. I'm still going out tonight with the fiance to look at other dresses. I just need a Plan B to settle myself. Good luck! Heather

Just got an email from Gianinar Bridal. They found a problem on my dress and are altering it now. They should be done in 2 days and shipping will take 4 days. My panic has subsided a bit. Still looking for a Plan B, but at least they finally answered me. Will it be here in time for my August 10th wedding date, no. (fake date) But it should be here in plenty of time for the real date. Amanda, I emailed them at their hotmail address and through their ebay email address. Maybe the double emailing got them to email me back. It's worth a shot. I hope our dresses get here in time.
