Hello Girls!!! I haven't post much info in this forum (Trivera5521 calls me stranger) but I got to say that you guys are amazing!! Thank you so much for all the info Sunny, Disazaja, Trivera5521 and all of you!!! I am exactly 52 days away from my wedding day!!! OMG!! I am going crazy. I really hope everything works out fine and everybody has a good time. I need advice , please help Girls what have you thought for the welcome bags? I am having a hard time figuring out what to get for our guests. How about activities planned for/with them? Have you booked any? Is anybody doing the crazy hour? Does anybody has any info about how to put together a program for a Catholic ceremony? Do we get to choose the readings and songs or do they give us that info? Trivera, I am using a TA in Baltimore. I met them at a Bridal Show. They are handling all my guest room reservations and they have been fantastic!! The agency is called Dreamers Travel and I am working with Mark, Laura and Jennifer. We reserved 30 rooms through them and there are only 2 left!! I am so excited!!! With them, we had to put down $100.00 per room to lock the price. The good thing is that with them you don’t loose your money. If all the rooms are not booked by 120days prior to your wedding date, they reimburse 100% so you don’t loose anything. When I was looking for other ways to have my guest reserve, all the agencies had some kind of fee for those rooms that were not booked. also, they don't charge you for anything. With them once you reach your deadline they ask you for permission to release the rooms that are not booked and you get your money back. Also, your guests have until 2 months prior to your wedding date to pay for their rooms. Give them a call and see what deal they can get you. They are really nice! Good luck girl!!!!

Hello MinStoon sorry for the late response. I have not been able to check this blog until today. Well in regards to your question I payed 30% of the Tangerine Package and I thought that included the religious ceremony. I am also getting married at the Chapel. I am going to have to find out to see if that is what my WC meant. I will post here once I found out what the answer is. Hello Sunny 55143 I am getting married November 24th religious ceremony is booked already but I have no reception venue yet. I am little worried. I sent my WC an email to find out what other location they have besides the banquet rooms but I have not gotten any answer yet. As soon as I have any new info I will post this. Congrats to all!!!

Hello Brides to be!! I understand your frustration I am going through the same pain. I requested Bar Higuey and they told me that it was already reserved.. I have asked for other options different from banquet rooms and restaurants I have gotten no response back since last week. If they get back to me with any info I will make sure to post this info here. For the brides who are interested in the option of Buffet I finally got those. Also, if they offer fruit punch for the cocktail hour I just want you guys to know that you can have the option of either national or international open bar which my WC forgot to mention in her first email. I also have prices for centerpieces, photography packages and extras that I will be glad to email you guys if you are interested. This is my email [email protected] if anybody needs any of this info. Hello brides and congrats to all!! I'm also getting married at the BBPD and I have to thank all of you for all the info! I feel that now I know what to ask for and what changes they can make. I am working with Lianny and she has been nice so far. However, she is not that good about getting back to me. We already paid to reserve the date for the religious ceremony but had no info regarding reception venues until I found you guys! Thank you so much for all the info and wish all the best. Please keep posting all info you get, I am still in the working process but feel that the wedding date is coming up very fast and have not done much. If you have any info with regards to prices, decorations, menu please if you can send it to my email [email protected] I actually get more from you than from the resort itself. Hello and congratulations to all the brides!!! I'm also in the process of planing my wedding! I got to say very exciting but stressful. I'm trying to book at the barcelo bavaro palace deluxe and I am a little concern because I don't have much info in regards to plated and buffet menu options and the different venues they offer for the cocktail hour and reception. I have heard a lot of you talkin about Martin is this a restaurant or a private reception hall? Please if you have any info can you please forward that to me I'm working with a different wedding coordinator her name is Lianny so far she is being pretty good but I get half te info I request. I thought to choose the "tangerine package" but after all your comments I'm getting ready to take a look at the other packages.
