  1. My friend is a pastor so he is performing the ceremony, and that's why we decided to go impromptu, we didn't want the official Mexican ceremony because of all the red tape. We will be legally married in CA when we come back. It is a sand ceremony and there are no other weddings there. We reserved the beach for our "group meeting" for the hour needed as a private cocktail hour. Since the resort is all inclusive the DJ/dance floor and restaurants are free. For weddings they tack on all kinds of fees but for just a meeting party they give you an hour fee private cocktail session, and a guaranteed group dinner seating. Just because I'm wearing a white dress I didn't think it was a necessity to have the "free heart shaped cake" that comes with the $2000 wedding fee. No of course i'm starting to worry.
  2. I'm flying in 2/28 with 60 friends and a plan to have an impromptu wedding, do you know anything about carrying your own bouquet or cake?
  3. do you know anything about carrying your own bouquet and cake through customs?
  4. I booked 30 rooms (60 plane tickets) to Royal Solaris beginning 2/28/2012 and ending 3/3. I was planning on just walking out to the sand saying I do! I understand the resort is all inclusive and we can just go to the mexican buffet following the sand celebration, a long with a DJ in the lobby bar every night to dance to. All of a sudden I'm super worried that they'll JUST SAY NO to me gathering on the sand in a white dress with 60 guests. Any experience with the impromtu?
  5. I'm getting married 3/1/12, it's last minute, yes and I have a ton of questions, can anyone help? I booked 25 rooms at Royal Solaris and did not buy a wedding package.
  6. I'm getting married there on 3/1/12. Any thoughts? How was it?
