Hi LonnieLang, Not sure if you have been to the Melia Caribe yet or have seen the beach gazebo, but it's gorgeous! We went over the summer to check out a few potential resorts for our wedding and fell in love with the Melia. I'm attaching a picture of the beach gazebo that I took, I found this to be the most private of the locations for the ceremony, because it's kind of set back on a sandy hill behind the beach goers so the gazebo is out of the line of sight unless they're turned completely around. I'm also attaching a picture of what the view looks like from the grassy area around the gazebo. The gazebo is set further back than where I was standing so you almost don't even notice the people on the beach when you're under it. Let me know how your special day goes and what you decide to do. This seemed to be the most private location for a ceremony that would really capture the view and beauty of the ocean. We had to drive sort of off the beaten path, down a little kinda dead end area to get to it, and it was not down on the beach so it wasn't really made visible to the public unless they looked behind them. It's up on this sandy hill kind of tucked away near some palm trees so I felt it was the most private option without compromising the scenery. I've also attached a picture of the view onto the beach from the lawn area surrounding the gazebo. The gazebo is set back a little further from where I took this picture so you can't really even see all the beach goers when standing on under the gazebo.
