  1. Sara Tamargo. Her work looksnatural and so far she has been a true joy to work with. I kid you not, she always responds to emails within an hour!!
  2. 39 days until we leave for our wedding. We are planning a 430 pm wedding, followed by pictures and then a private sit down dinner at the french restaurant.. We have broken up the menu and have chose Italian menu for appetizers and steakhouse for the main food. My sister has been there before and is very familiar with the food. We are getting married on Tuesday, but have guest coming in though Monday. We are planning on going to the Japanese Steakhouse for our main get together/ rehearsal dinner. I am using Sara Tamargo for my makeup and Luckie photography for our wedding. I know there is a penalty, but if you book a room for the photographer at (the Mexican local rate) it ends up greatly minimizing the penalty by about 75%. I can't believe how fast time is flying!!!! Let me know how your planning is going
  3. I am planning on catholic wedding package at the chapel, and then photos after that. As far as the reception, since we are only having about 25 people we are having reception at french restaurant with the steak house option. I chose steak house because it included beef, seafood and chicken for the guest. I will say that I am not impressed with the appetizers which include onion rings, but overall I was happy with the menu and the fact that Lily the wedding planner has sent me several photos. I am starting to get nervous, because we are getting married in June and I feel the count down has begun. I don't know what to take as far as wedding favors, and things like that. What are you all doing?? Happy planning
  4. We are getting married at the Iberostar Paraiso Maya at the end of June of this year. I am now working with Lily, and find her to be very easy to work with. We thought about the Grand, but family friends have children under age18. The only thing that I have not been happy with is the penalty for using an outside photographer. I have chosen Luckie Photography and will be out $500 for using outside photographer. Other than that I am thrilled with the response time with e-mails. I am curious to know if any of you are having private party with sit down dinner. If so, what menu choices are you considering?? Happy wedding planning to all of you Iberostar brides!!!!!!!! I think we made a wonderful choice
