Hi was your bouquet included?

I have had my wedding pack from Thomas Cook today and it tells me I need to get birth certificates translated, certified as correctly translated by a Spanish speaking lawyer then legalised by another company. It will cost about £200 i think. Did you have a legal ceremony? Do you have to register the marriage at a registry office when you get back in the UK? I dont want to spend the money if it is not necessary.

Could those in the UK tell me if the flight was at 09.25 would we land in Mexico on that same day with flight times and time difference. I have read that you have to be in resort for 5 working days before you can have a legal wedding ceremony and that there are no weddings at weekends. Does the day you land class as one of these working days. I.e could you tell me what the earliest day I would be able to get married if (a) my flight was at 09.25 from UK on a saturday and ( my flight was 09.25 on a tuesday. I cant believe it. It seems every time I come on here the price for videography goes up. By the time I get married in Nov 2012 it will be about $1000. I am so annoyed! Also, I have told by the travel agent that we need to be in resort 5 working days before we get married so really we would be there a week. We were planning on getting wed as early into the holiday as possible. I have noticed on this forum that some brides have mentioned wedding dates just a couple of days after arrival. Am I being given incorrect info by the TA? Is this something you arrange through your TA or through the WC at the hotel? Also I have noticed that people are sending their WC's pictures of bouquets instead of using the pictured ones. Do these cost extra or are they still including in the package? Hi, I have seen the akumel hammock location decorated (not just white) on a few pics and i love it. I want the brazilian restaurant though which is in Tulum and the akumel wedding location so i do not know which hotel to book and whther this is possible. Can anyone help? did the material take up a lot of weight in your suitcase? the flowers make it too but did that work out expensive?

I am so pleased about the package thing. I am looking at having blissful love package too but wasnt sure how much the price would go up the more people who came. Do you mind me asking how much the poolside party was for that many people? Thanks for the info on witnesses too. I am not having any adult bridesmaids either so our set up will be similar to yours.

just checking because i am a little confused...you can choose a legal ceremony cant you. also on the GBP website they quote prices for the wedding packages and state that there is a minimum of 24 people for sunshine and 30 people for the blissful love packages. Does this mean that for each person you go over this amount the price quoted will go up. if so has anyone got a rough idea how much this goes up per person. i am expecting around 35 people to come based on the response we have had so far. i want to draw up a budget soon so may be asking quite a few questions like this.

Hi Mellisay123, SNAP...we are planning for Nov 2012 and cannot book yet. Im am getting impatient now and just really want to get it booked. Plus we have sent invites out but a lot of our guests cannot confirm until they know the exact price. We have about 22 confirmed as definites so far. I just can't wait! Happy planning! Thanks for the response cdlillad, I have no worries now about them having the flowers i want. For those who have had their receptions at the brazilian restaurant. Do you pick a menu because it seems that it is set out already. And do you have a dessert for the guests and a wedding cake or do you have to pick one or the other. What are the wedding cakes like? Also can you take a CD/IPOD of your own music to play during the meal?

cdlillad, what are the flowers in your bouquet then? and do these particular flowers come in various colours. They look like gerbera which i was thinking about having. was your bouquet in with your package or did you have to pay extra?

Is there a selection of packages offered by Arricife? I really cannot afford the prices that people are quoting. Are there any cheaper packages that still include the photos on a disc?

im jealous sunshine. We are planning to get married Nov 2012 too but Im in the UK and our travel agents do not have the prices out for winter 2012 yet so I have to wait until August. I just want to get it booked so its done. Plus I want to know the cost!

thanks for sending me the tulum menus Christi. I have forwarded you the Akumel ones. Just need the Coba ones now if anyone has them before we make our decision. I would actually like the BBQ meal that you pay extra for but I dont think I will have enough people. Is it 35 or 50?

If so does anyone have any menus to send me (I have the seafood and italian which I believe are in the Akumel section but no others) because this may decide for me which hotel to book. 2) What are the times that alcohlic drinks are available from and until? 3) Do you know whether there are any appartments available which have separate bedrooms in so that 3 people (a couple and a single) can share but still have privacy or are they all just open plan rooms? Hi All, I am new to the forum, I am from the UK and am in the early stages of planning a wedding to GBP in Nov 2012. I have begun trawling through all of the extremely useful posts but one thing I would like and havent come across yet is a price guide for the wedding extras as I am trying to draw up a budget. If anyone has price list or can just let me know how much they are paying for flowers, photographs, video and any other wedding extras then could you send them to [email protected] please. Also I am interested in the poolside reception so if anyone knows the price of this then let me know. Thank you in advance.
