OMG!!! Hey Ladies!! I got a phone call yesterday that brought me to tears. My father ( who lives in Ontario , Im in Alberta) called my wedding dress boutique and Paid for my whole dress! He had the Ladies in the Boutique Crying, I was Crying and So was He!! WOW!! Im attaching a pic of me in the sample dress. Its a few sizes too big ( and Im a curvy chick) The Designer is Mori Lee.. LOVE HER!

This is Weird. Im getting Married March 2012, I have two Paying Adults (up graded to the Royal Gardens Aka.. All Inclusive) and I have Three Children coming with us. ALL THREE are Free to stay ( we have to pay for Flights) My Oldest is 11, Middle is 6 and Youngest is 1. Maybe its just a special between Transat?? I don't know.. Im sure as hell glad I don't have to fork over anymore Expenses than what I was Quoted.

Children are free to Stay under 12. You Should call the Resort and find out yourself. I think its if you "upgrade" to the All Inclusive Package.

Ames.. when are you getting Married? Seriously I am getting Married in March 2012.. LOL.. Im so excited to try on dresses.. Maybe its too early?

She chose Stacey Clarke .. if you google her name she's the first to pop up. Hiring a local is a good idea.. most have experience with the resort and know where all the good pics are taken. I hear Merrick was amazing as well. As for the Bahia. We chose Runaway bay because its not in a city. we wanted to get the Jamaican feel out of it. Ocho Rios and Montego Bay are very busy and loud cities. As well, we have three children. the Gran Bahia allows all children under the age of 12 to stay for free under one adult paying all inclusive.. Its kinda a sweet deal for us! Whatever you Chose will be perfect. Your getting married in Paradise!! There's no Limo's, Grouchy Relatives, waking up early mornings and expensive wedding costs!! Actually.. I have Booked and Reserved my Wedding for the Gran Bahia in Jamaica. I have an outside photographer coming with us and there are no restrictions. I also had a friend get married there a few weeks back, She hired a Jamaican Photographer ( stacey Clarke) and all she had to do was pay the 75.00 day pass. I have Family that lives in Jamaica. They all have to purchase day passes. Just like the photographers, theres no Vendor Fees like Sandals or anything like that.

I had this same question.. we are travelling with three children. I asked what the price difference is when It comes to getting a connecting room. I was told that the children have to pay Adult prices in order to get these rooms.( children stay for free) THEN i was told that upon arrival and paying those prices I wasn't guaranteed to have the connecting rooms at all.. UUUGHHH!!

Honestly I have had the same issue when it comes to Family and Friends with their Opinions. Can you Imagine this.. My fiance's Family is FROM Jamaica, now living in Canada.. they are all giving us a hard time about getting married there. I want my children to see and experience what their culture is like AND PLUS, I have Never seen the Ocean. I would rather pay 7200.00 for all 5 of us (Fiance, Me and 3 kids) to spend a week in PARADISE and get married, than spend 25,000.00 + in one day.. Do the math!! Seriously Im getting Tired of the back and forth with Family members ( some aren't even paying for the resort, they are staying in the houses and coming for the wedding day) and STILL raise a Stink. Either way as I quote my Fiance "Its not just for our wedding , its a good excuse to take a Vacation" On a lighter note. I booked my Photographer in, her name is Stacey Clarke, She's a local with AMAZING credentials. I figured, why not get a local who knows where to take the Perfect pictures.. than fly someone in from Canada and over pay? She requires a 50.00 fee for travel and the Hotel wants a 75.00 fee for a Day's Pass in the Resort. That with her fees is MUCH cheaper. Hey Ladies!!! In regards to Photographers and having them included in your packages. I heard that those guys are Crap. I came across A woman who lives in Jamaica.. her work is exquisite. She's fairly priced and Grand Bahia allows photographers on the premises with no extra cost. Her name is Stacey Clarke ( photography) She was recommended by a friend who used her services. Im going today to put my deposit down on my destination wedding with the travel lady. Calgary going to JA is 1750 Toronto going to JA is 1650 is the package pricing what everyone is talking about??
