From what I just read in someones post, you can just take the beer from all of your fridges and ask them to stock up the beer in your hotel room with JUST beer a few days prior.. that way you can stockpile beer and not pay for a bartender.

I have my three children flying and staying with us. My son will be 18 months (free flight and stay) and our 7 yr old and 11yr old Stay for free.. Just have to worry about flights.

Well Ladies.. I made it simple for me. Im hiring a steel pan band for my procession and for the guests afterwards while we have pictures taken. and Im buying my own rum and Champagne ( a toast is included in my package) for the Guests to enjoy while they wait for us (lol) Im trying to make my wedding as Authentic as I can. My Fiances Family is from Jamaica ( we have to ask about the family bringing some "finger foods" as they will be coming from home on the island) I really hate the fact that we are only allowed 1 bag. Fortunately I have my three kids travelling with me ( mommy can sneak some stuff in their bags) Im taking my dress as a Carry-on... and well.. I will have to Jam pack all the rest in my bags. Isn't there a hotel manager you guys can contact?? Im so mad for all of you.. I'll look for an email..

WOW!!! Im so glad that my TA is Dealing with all of this.. I think I would have Cussed out these planners if they screwed up THAT bad on my Wedding Day.. Oh My Jesus... Im angry just reading all of this. I would CC the two ladies together so they both get the damned emails. Its sounds like they are giving everyone the run around!! So much for a gift/tip?? I know I wouldn't bother.. Im paying 1950 for LESS headaches to do a destination wedding.. seems like its more from these convo's. Good luck Ladies!!

ACW - I honestly felt this way too. Its harder to do what Im about to say.. RELAX. Its JAMAICA! If people don't want to attend then thats their problem, If you have enough for your group rate then its time to put up your feet and just take in the joys of being engaged. Believe me, this isn't my first Rodeo. Ive been married before and its best to not freak out. (not saying you are, but I know I did) Winery in Ontario?!! REALLY? Don't bother. This wedding is for YOU and YOUR FI.. anyone else is a bonus, and who doesn't want to watch a wedding in paradise. Group Rate or not your wedding with be fantastic and beautiful. Why bother spending 15,000.00 plus for ONE DAY for people your barely know ( or don't want to know LOL) when you can put that money to use somewhere else? The ones that Cancelled with Regret it when your laying on the beach sipping your pina colada's and they aren't. You never know, you might have some last minute people hop on the reservation list, you might not. Destination Weddings aren't worth the stress.. Have a glass of Wine, The more stressed you are, the more stressed the men get..
