  1. Same thing happened to me. I have read past brides have traded for things etc. So I tried asking Claudia as well, and she responded to me with the same. Keeping my fingeeez crossed though!!!
  2. Super cute! Thats what I am doing. You can look on etsy.com and find a few to use to go from.
  3. I am having my 2 1/2 yr. old daughter be our flower girl and our 1 yr. old son be our ring bearer. From what I've read on the wedding pkg. extras you can purchase bags of rose petals for $20 each, so I am assuming that they are okay with it,as long as they are real... being that they are biodegradable. I am turning a small sandcastle type bucket into what my daughter will be carrying down the aisle.(we are having our ceremony on the beach) Hope this helps!!!!
  4. Yay!!!! It sounds AWESOME!!! I am so GRATEFUL to this website for all of the helpful hints!! So...I'd like to get ya'lls oppion on what I have come up with for our reception centerpiece. Our colors are fuchsia and a lil hint of tiffany blue.. feel free to leme know what cha think!

  6. It is Gorgeous!!! I was hoping you were going to say that! Thats were our ceremony and cocktail hour are going to take place!!!! Did you LOVE it??? You did a fabulous job on your table deco. Were did you get your table overlay's??
  7. Oh, and I was also wondering if anyone knows how much material or what type( ie. organza,???) I may need to bring for the beach canopy. We are having our ceremony on the beach and would like to add some more color to our canopy but am not sure how much to order and bring. I have seen some gorgeous photos of weddings were brides have brought some different colors that incorporate there wedding colors on it.
  8. Hi Ladies... I am trying to think of centerpieces. So far I am bringing cylinder paper lanterns (fucshia) I figure they are light weight and we can use battery operated tea lights with the wind and all. Placing them on Large Chargers with shells, starfish etc. I just don't know how much deco to bring? Am I going to need to bring table clothes? What do they provide with the ultimate pkg? I already purchased our chair bows for the ceremony. Do they place those same chairs @ the reception? Getting Excited... nervous etc. and my wedding isn't until October!!!! ehehehehehehehehehe
  9. Thank you so much!!! I am going to do the same thing with my oot bags and ceremony/reception deco. Just makes more sense to me!!! Can't wait to see your pics!!!!!
  10. Are you talking about the Rehearsal dinner? Or the Reception Dinner. My wedding isn't until October, but we got the Ultimate pkg. which comes with a Plated dinner fot 20+ guests? I was wondering how everyone handled a rehearsal dinner?
  11. I found some from cheaptotes.com. They are a decent size although the material is a little thinner than I had expected. (I purchased the white ones) I plan on getting a heat transfer I made to put on all of them, with Two Sea Horses "Love" on the top and Cancun on the bottom. They were very reasonably priced and can be reused as well. Hope it helps!!!
  12. Goodness I hear ya on the Apple Vacation thing. I was trying to see if it would be easier to book both of our family's as well as ourselves through them, and man did was such a mess just trying to get someone on the phone pleasant enough or patient enough to get all the reservation quotes!!! Luckily we booked our wedding and gave our deposit without Directly through Dreams. Honestly, I'm not for sure for sure, but I'm thinking that, that is how you reserve your date, time, location, etc. Have you called Dreams Directly, and spoken to Claudia or Cecillia?? I'm sure one of them would put your mind at ease... WIshing you less stress...
  13. Thank you Thank you Thank you..... Now we have more of a vision of where we will have our ceremony!!! That is Totally where we wanted!! Your the Best!!!
  14. Hi Ladies, I can't seem to find any pictures of what the beach in front of Himitsu Restaurant looks like or a Reception on the Terrace. Does anyone have any photos, or know where I may be able to find some? We are planning on a Beachfront wedding but wish we had more of a visual of what our choices were. We aren't expecting more than 30 ppl and want to have it as intimate as possible. Thank you so so much!!!!
  15. I'm am SO CONFUSED! What does everyone mean by signing a contract? Is that what I had signed when putting down our deposit for The Ultimate Wedding pkg. our Date/time/Location etc? Would that mean that we fall into the Juan photo category? We booked our Wedding in February for our Wedding in October.. Is there more I need to be signing? We are just having a simple ceremony with the cocktail hr, and Reception dinner. (Having a large reception when we get back) Should I be contacting Cecilia about signing another contract? Sorry If I sound like a Lameo..... I am just a bit confused on the whole thing.. Thank you
  16. Hello Ladies, I'm new to this site. I've been reading many of the post's! I'm so glad I found it!!! We have our Wedding booked for 10/21/11 on the beach. We went with the Ultimate wedding pkg. I'm trying to picture what it will look like! Is it private? Are there different beach location options? Do we have to walk through people sunbathing? Has anyone had a smaller ceremony approx. 20 guests, without a DJ after? Is there any nightlife on the property? It's probably just going to be family. So for the 20-30 somethings to do after our dinner. We are having a reception 2wks after we get back, so we are okay on not doing a big something there. Can't wait to hear back!!!!
