Florian is the videographer that is on the now facebook page..... He's not bad.... I cant decide.... I'm still stuck between photo souvenir and HDC.....(it's a big added expense)(and even more to add with videography) I have price sheets if anyone needs them....If we don't get the divine pack It's almost impossible ti figure out how much everything will cost to breakdown a la carte with cocktail, dining, ceremony, entertainment etc..... I wish they made this part easier. There are so many things I really don't need with the divine package.... but it almost feels easier to just pick it...HELP! Deesanders the down payment for HDC I think is 20% through paypal btw the resort photographer takes really nice candids.... who knows maybe I'll end up with both....Im giving myself till the weekend to decide:) JB not sure about the DJ.... I really didnt ask who the DJ was .... I guess since my FI is a DJ and so are a lot of his friends(some that will be there) if the DJ sucks..... we can just use the equipment.... I need to make a call to claribel so Ill ask when I speak to her....or if anyone else hears first...post please;) Deesanders.... I guess with the luggage tag idea....it can go both ways.... but If people respond there definitely not coming then....if there not family I dont think its a big deal not to send formal invite. Family I prob still would...

Jamiebride I actually just got the same info.....the pics are really nice but nt to many wedding pics...... Who did claribel reccomend to do videography? Jb as for swapping.....they wont allow you to swap what's in the packages.... which kinda sucks=( also....good luck with dress shopping in the city!

JB...plus to spend that much and not be able to try it on.... Do they have samples in your area? I spent 975 on my dress and still have to do alterations.... If your willing to go up in cost you have sooo many more options. I decided not to purchase too much for the OOT bags untill my RSVP date which is August 1st.... I'll still be able to get things at end of the summer discount prices! I dont want to over or under buy..... I found earrings on etsy for my girls that i'm in love with what do u think? I decided to do sangria with gold accessories earrings, sandals etc... still waiting to hear back from claribel with my questions....I emailed my TA today, so she can follow up on it too!

JB really nice dresses..... but not so nice prices... lol Which dress are you considering? Katusha platinum or platinum plus with all the printed pics etc.... I'm so close to putting my deposit down....

JB.....GREAT JOB!!!!! with the invites! I think its up to you with the liner it may look nice but they look great without!!! katusha I'm more then likely doing the same thing with the photography.... I emailed the wc from the resort with that question & i'm waiting to here back(also choosing the Divine package... which package did you pick with HDC?... I'm trying to decide that now... I also like photo souveneir and im waiting to here back from them too on there packages....but I'm very impressed with HDC.... they are very easy to communicate with!!

btw JB did you view the wedding videos posted on the facebook page.....I'm wondering if that is the resort photograher or private.....guess ill have to wait to hear back?

deesanders I agree.....the dresses are very formfitting which is fine if the girls can pull it off....I had to go more empire waisted due to the fact that all my girls have much different figures... I had my contract changed a few times but not for the prices.... to change the number of rooms I was reserving... I think it took a few days each time....I really didnt bargain down on price because 368 for four nights trop view and $400 for 4 nights ocean....seemed pretty good! I dont think the quote is terrible, your talking 10-12 dollars more a night so it really depends on if you wanna play the back and fourth game.... also I was under the impression if the resort price goes down they have to give you the lower price....JB that dress is perfect for TTD..... I need to start looking for one too. Who are you using for TTD ....... HDC prices I think are reasonable but I still havnt locked in.... prob tomm The full day photography is pre ceremony getting ready?ceremony?photo shoot/ and reception 1400 with everthing, you can get it cheaper if you have everything put on CD and then print yourself..... and TTD (they come back the next morning) is aprox $300 depending which TTD session we choose .... ranges from 250-400 So in total will be about 1700.....which was more than I wanted to spend especially since the resort also give photgrapher but I really want to have good long lasting memories..... I wish we can exchange photgrapher for something else!

me too! one bag per couple and I think the bag is on the large size.....you can use it as a beach bag to throw a towel & some stuff in if you wanted too....

Sarah.... I can handle waiting untill they return:) I agree all inclusive resorts never have GREAT food! I'm from New York "the food capital"..... I dont expect fine dining just decent food, sun & fun! I'm just looking forward to my wedding & surrounding myself with family and friends.... and leaving it in gods hands to do the rest! (I'm not crazy religous, but it's the truth)

I'm in the same boat with you girls and I have a lot of guests booked already I spoke to my TA today and she is saying this should smooth out and she is going to contact the resort and speak with claribel to see what is going on...... She swears she has had no problem with this brand.....There is a girl she goes by travelbetty on tripadvisor and she just had a wedding there with 35 guests and said she had a great time she emailed me photos and everything.... this is the email she sent me: ( and she commented on another post about not seeing bed bugs.... the girl that posted that if u check out her reviews posted like 4 out of 6 negative reviews for different hotels she has visited, so she may just be one of those people...as for the food it's the caribbean, I mean Im not sure what people expect?? I cant imagine it being that bad.... this is the email: Hi there, Travelbetty from Tripadvisor here J What would you like to know about the wedding services? Have you been in contact with Claribel (the wedding coordinator at the resort [email protected])? She was fantastic and my true saving grace throughout the whole planning stage and even more so on the day of our wedding. She can be a bit delayed in responding to emails so the best thing to do is be patient, she will be in touch with you. You do have TONS of time though... We had our ceremony on the beach, which is not very private but we both wanted to be bare foot on the beach when we said I-Do. Any on-lookers were very considerate of not being in the background of our photos, but I am guessing our wedding will be a part of many people’s trip photo albums, it was kind of weird having your photo taken by complete strangers but we must have done something right as no other weddings that week received that much attention. Our whole wedding was fairly casual so we were totally fine with that. We had our reception at the beach/pool restaurant “Castaways†I don’t have any pictures of that yet as we only had the photographer for the ceremony. But it was fantastic! It held our group of 37 very well. Our dinner consisted of salad, soup (we chose both the day after we arrived) then for our main course we utilized the “Barefoot Grill†a HUGE grill that they have just outside the restaurant, they grilled chicken, pork, steak, fish, calamari and shrimp we got to choose whatever we wanted! It was GREAT! For the photographer we used the resorts. They have their little photo hut thing that I assume employs a few different photographers to take pictures around the resort. Our photographers name was Ricardo/Ricky, he was great! J I have attached a couple pictures. deesanders, I didnt get my std's printed..... I sent it via email & then it directed everyone to our wedding website.... it was cost effective & everyone got to check out the site! I googled sunsets in DR and in nov I think it was at 6:05 and were having our ceremony at 4

JB, I can't believe you made them!!! There really nice... Acutie, I wish u had xmas tree shops near u too they have a huge selection of beachy items.... AC Moore is another craft shop that may have nice paper... We have them in NY.... Thanks Subbi...... I think I may add a thick ribbon, possibly and a bow where the ribbon and shells meet.

JB I love those cloth flowers....Where did you buy them? They look so nice!!!

the shells are for two of my flower girls.... The one in the middle will hold the basket..... what do u girls think? Those are my oot bags......same ones JB!! BTW those little lanterns are at CTS's and there only $1 and they coe with batteries! Not the best quality but..... there a dollar & it gives the effect... I really want to get the oldnavy flip flops but I have know idea what sizes and how many??
