Soccer1615 - thanks for liking my parasol idea! it really is a cost effective way to give your bridesmaids a feature! Just wondering on the linens - is anyone considering pintuck ivory or champagne banquet linens? I am hoping to purchase these but they are a little expensive... not too sure what to do! I will post a photo of what way I want the tables to be laid out on the deck and the pintuck linens... let me know what you think!

amurka we cant get a direct flight to dominican so we are flying to manchester the night before and staying overnight there. so that's only an hour flight and then the flight from manchester is about 9 hours I think? we flew via birmingham the last time i was in DLR. I am having a veil and leaving my hair down, and lucky for me I have two hairdressers coming with me!! My sister and one of my friends both own Toni & Guy salons so we'll be well sorted for blowdry's and upstyles! LOL! I am glad you like my ideas, I really should take some more photos of stuff I have been collecting and post them up here to share - and you should do the same! xxx

Hi brides! it's great to see a bit more activity on this forum of late! Amurka, I too am counting the days until we leave, our wedding isnt until the 24th but we depart dublin on the 20th so i'm counting down to then! so it's 118 days and counting! your dress is FABULOUS!!!!! I'll try to find a pic of mine and upload it Jessica your dress is amazing too!! as for the bridesmaid bouquets - I have decided to have parasols instead of bouquets and found the most amazing ones on ebay from a chinese seller - they arrived the other day and they really are fab, they're a light fabric, (although I thought i was buying paper parasols!) so I'm getting wrist corsages for the girls or a flower to attach to the parasol to add a little floral they parasols were, like, $4 or something!

Hi amurka! How are you hon? All good here, 4 months today to our wedding... I can't wait! All the planning is going well so fairly stress free! I haven't gone near DLR wedding planners yet coz I know how busy they are and they wont wanna hear from me until about two weeks before! Lol! How's all with you? Thanks Brendee and francy - I feel like it's taking forever to get here but I guess when I thnk about it it's only 6 and a half months and i'm hoping christmas will distract me a little! I visited DLR last march and we just loved it so much... although we werent even engaged at the time we both said it would be an amazing place to get married.. and now we are! it's so exciting. Oh if anyone is thinking of using studiosuits.com for the mens suits I couldnt recommend them enough - we ordered one suit as a sample and it arrived last week - it looks great! such good value and great quality

Hi Jen, Yeh they really look great and the price is amazing for custom made! you couldn't rent suits for that price in Ireland! one thing though - I just checked my swatches and there is a tropical beige linen and a tropical dark beige linen...am I correct that you went with the first? Sorry to be a pain I just think everything looked fab for you and would love to recreate some of it! xxx

I originally had them done in blue (ocean background) but I got new ones in coral recently so you can have all the blue ones if they would go better with your colour scheme? either colour I have tons to spare xxx
