  1. I should have mentioned he had a bunch of # of hours, the less hours you did the cheaper, obviously...but you'll definitely want some pictures...mention it to the parents, as a gift if they can help you pay for them...they'lll certainly be worth it to have and look back upon as well
  2. His pricing was absolutely fabulous...far better than anything you'd find in states, especially since you get the CD w/all the high res pictures along w/a letter stating you have rights to print them. I believe I had him for 5 hrs, although he was definitely there for 5 1/2 if not 6, as they took a while to do the cake, etc. It was $2,000, that included an album w/4x6" pics, not all, but a good quantity of them, at least 100...Online Slideshow with music for two months,
  3. Shawna, Congrats on the engagement. I just got married on 5/29 at the Riu Tropical Bay Palace in Negril, 4pm wedding. It was a great day and we couldn't have phoned in better weather...which knowing how often there are afternoon storms. We had a total of 72 guest, which is HUGE for a destination wedding, a number of my husbands friends are still single (not married) so they traveled down and then we had a good amount of relatives there as well. We had it at the Riu as we had kids who would be attending so it needed to allow children. But there were VERY few children other than the 6 w/our party, so that was good. We had a fantastic photographer Devon Shaw of Jamaican Wedding Photographers, www.jamaiciaweddingphotos.com. He did a great job and they have a great cost for what I got. 5 hrs, they gave us a book w/many of the pictures (probably 200) and then a CD w/all the pictures so we could print them ourselves. And we have a website, for a year I believe w/our pictures. The destination thing, is definitely a way more laid back way to have a wedding and our whole crew had a fantastic time...couldn't have been better (well if all of my family attended). Best of luck to you. Sarah
  4. I used Devon for my wedding May 29th at the Riu Tropical Bay Palace in Negril. He did a FABULOUS job capturing our special day. Our hotel had a photographer, but they only took a few pictures, so I wanted to go and find someone who'd take our ceremony and reception. We had a huge destination wedding as far as those go, w/74 people including my husband and I. He was able to take all the pictures we wanted and then we told him some specific shots we wanted as well. It was a great day w/a nice sunset, so we were able to capture that as well. He got one of the best pictures of my husband and his groomsmen...it was an awesome picture which my husband calls the Reservior Dogs picture. I'll see if i can attach it. I was quite nervous not having met Devon before the wedding, but he sure takes some great pictures and he'll cater to your needs and requests. So rest assured if you have Devon take your wedding day pictures he'll take great quality pictures of your day to have and cherish forever!!! Thanks again Devon for capping off our great day.
