  1. We are going to start right away. We want 3-4 kids. Starting right away would get us #1 when we are 32, at the earliest. Gotta get a move on!
  2. I think we are basically set on doing a Freedom of the Seas Wedding, in Port Canaveral (Royal Caribbean). My only hesitation is I don't like the chapel on the ship. What are the other ceremony location options? I would love to be able to do it outside, but I know other guests will be roaming around, so I'm not sure this is possible. Also considering a shoreside ceremony, so I would love any info on that as well (well, info other than what I can find in the brochure). I would also be interested in experiences on the other Freedom class ships- The Independence and Liberty of the Seas. Thanks in advance!
  3. Something to think about- Cozumel is a docked port and, from what I can tell, St. Thomas can be docked or tendered. Personally, I wouldn't want to risk getting married in a tender port, since those are much more likely to be skipped if the weather is bad. I would call Carnival and ask if they know which it will be.
  4. I don't think I would feel guilty about taking care of the legalities before hand. I wouldn't really think of it as actually being married, just some paperwork that needs to be taken care. My true wedding and anniversary would be when and where the ceremony would be.
  5. I did this same cruise a few years ago. I really enjoyed the itinerary, but was pretty exhausted after all the days in port. I highly recommend adding on a few days in Hawaii at the end, maybe as your private honeymoon.
  6. Does anyone know how much it is to add on a private reception?
