Some girls were wondering about DJ Doremixx a while back. I had him at my wedding last Saturday and he was AWESOME! Everyone at my reception loved him and he really knew how to get people dancing. He also handed out balloons, glow sticks and masks which added to the photo ops! He did cold fireworks during our first dance which was a cool touch.

Ok.. again! sorry! I didn't feel the bugs at all at AS but really got bite up at our second resort. The trees/bushes were a lot fuller at the second resort.

They have a pretty general ceremony outline. I can give you my example if you send me your email. I gave them prelude music for when guests were being seated, wedding party processional, bride processional, I had a singer during the sand ceremony and gave them that music and then our walk out music. I had postlude music but they forgot to play it.

I don't know what happen to my above post, but I would only worry about pants and open-toed sandals at Le Chique otherwise people wore shorts and sandals at every restaurant and no one was ever told not too from my party.

Do you feel like that all your WC did was push you to pay? I was trying to finalize my spreadsheet and make sure she had everything correct before I paid and felt all she cared about was getting the money. I even called to tell her what to change and it was basically worthless. I didn't mind my WC until lately. She seems to be such a space cadet! And now I don't hear back from her on my emails since she got my money!

We are going to AS for 6 nights and Secrets for 4 nights. One of my coworkers went to Secrets for his honeymoon and said the sushi was awesome so my FI just had to go there. Plus we wanted a resort with a nice beach, which we aren't getting with AS, so this will work!

We are going to Secrets Maroma Beach for our honeymoon. The beach is incredible.

That is so crazy! I was quoted like $449 for 40 cupcakes when I first started my planning therefore I completely axed the idea.

I asked to have my flowers tied with white ribbon and my bridesmaids with green ribbon and they are charging me $10 per bouquet. Does this sound correct to you girls? My WC said all bouquets are bound with a "very nice white plastic holder", but the picture doesn't show that of my bouquet which I picked off of their website. I want to make sure before I pay that.

Can anyone tell me what is included in bridal package #1 for at the spa? My WC can't seem to get it right and keeps telling me different things.

I bought the mat for photo frames from Michael's that I am going to have people sign then I am going to frame it with the group picture I intend on taking with everyone after the ceremony.

Are we supposed to purchase meals at our wedding reception for the photographer? Thanks!

Hi TLGnhci, I am sure I am super late on this but I believe you had said something about having to pay full price for your 13 year old daughter (atleast I think she was 13), but I wanted to let you know I looked at my contract and I have a child price (6-15) for 6 nights in a luxury ocean view suite for $337.56.

I had the same thing happen to me! My FI's parents are divorced also, so I don't know if that contributes to the whole mess, but we informed all of our friends and family in December 2009 of our intentions of having a destination wedding in Mexico and that we would appreciate feedback. Half of FI family said they would be up for going.. well fastforward to Dec/Jan of 2010/11 and all of sudden it is too dangerous there or the economy is horrible, blah blah blah. (Last I checked, Mexico has had violence for sometime and the economy has sucked since ATLEAST 2008). FI's father gives him some BS excuse that he can't afford to go or contribute anything (we know he has money, he flaunts it every chance he gets) and that he has sacrificed so much for us (by opening the invite? cuz we haven't seen any financial or emotional means) and we should feel bad for him. FI is no longer talking to his dad because of all of this drama he brings to his life and FI dad's girlfriend is emailing us telling us we basically sprung this wedding on them all (we have been engaged since Nov. 2009 and getting married in April 2011) and that we are holding everyone financially hostage. At times you just can't help but feel the happiest time of your life really exposes a lot of skeltons that were hiding in the closet!

I got Doremixx approved a few months ago.

I am doing DJ Doremixx and just paying the outside vendor fee and it is still cheaper than using Azul's DJ plus he will pay for 5 hours instead of 4 if that helps!
