If you bring your own photographer, and just have them stay there as part of your group (mine was only there for 3 nights) there is no problem. I knew a photographer from my hometown and had her come with as part of my group and the hotel knew that she was a "paying guest" so there was no charge for her. You can look at my pics on facebook as well. Aubrey Green, or the photographer is on facebook as well and she is under Studio Noveau Photography. Best wedding decision that we made was to bring her. Lisa - Thank you so much! That is so appreciated. I can send them back to you if needed after the wedding. We are only having around 18 people join us, so we wont need that many. Oh I am beginning to get excited, its getting so close. I am 55 days away from getting married, and 47 days away from heading to Mexico! Aubrey

Sandi - thank you for the offer of your lime green bows. Our color is blue, so that most likely wont work. Lisa - could you send me the site for the bows as well? The cobalt blue would work fabulous for us as well. Could we talk about me possibly using or buying some of yours? Unless you want to keep them for memories, or a party back home or something, I understand. Its getting so close now. Its hard to stand the wait. Thanks ladies, Aubrey

I have a price list from Ana for the photographers and it says that:   "Basic 30 pictures printed in 6†X 8â€, presentation of the same 30 pictures on a CD ROM. One typical Caribbean Album. No charge for extra time. Includes: Ceremony Beach session Price: $500 USD"  Is this what you are referring to? Will I need to talk to her about this as well?  Thanks,  Aubrey Â

I have been contacting the WC here, and have most of the information I need.  I just have one more thing I need. I want an arch of flowers or a canopy type thing. You paid $250 for a canopy and flowers? But it was quoted at $350. Do you have quotes for arches?? That wasn't in the info she sent me.  Thanks,  Aubrey Â

Back from our amazing wedding at the melia cabo real!!!!!
aegreen17 replied to sita's topic in Destination Wedding in Cabo
Sita, I can see that your wedding was a while ago, but I am new to this forum and am thinking about getting married at the Melia Cabo Real. Do you have any advice or information that would be helpful to me. I looked at your pictures, beautiful!! Is the set up that you had what is included in the free "Melia Wedding"? Did you just do a symbolic ceremony so you didnt have to do bloodwork and everything there? Anything else I should know? Thanks, Aubrey -
Could you send pictures to [email protected]? Thanks! Aubrey

Tuesday night was Kareoke, as was Sunday...I would not have reception on terrace those nights. Maybe once you get there, spend that night at the same time as your reception will be to see what the conditions are. My other concern would be about guests being respectful of your privacy as the terrace is rather large. We had 17 in our party and the small banquet hall was perfect. We went with the large table that everyone sat around and there was enough room for dancing, sound system, cake table and guest book table. I will see if I can get you a few better pictures to look at and post them in my FB album. I've left a suitcase there for you too Katie. There are 5 Fuschia umbrellas, 3 silver charger plates, some shells, 3 single candle lanterns (assort. colors: green, pink, orange) and 3 or 4 strands of lights: they are white lights with fuschia, green and blue beach umbrellas. I know not all of this matches your color scheme but maybe once you see it, you'll be able to incorporate some of it. Again, I'll ask friends and family for some pics so you can have an idea. Hope this helps! You've only got less than a month to go!!!!!!! A Would you be able to email me your pics? I am thinking about getting married here in January 2011 and am interested in pictures and info. Thanks, Aubrey

Hello all! My name is Aubrey and I am a new bride to be and in the midst of trying to plan a quaint destination wedding. Not sure where we want to go yet, but we are thinking Mexico or Punta Cana, DR. We will be getting married in late January of 2011. Cant wait to look at all the posts to figure out what is best for me. Thanks, Aubrey
