  1. Hi Pinky The wedding coordinators are Elizabeth Miranda and Daniela and they are fabulous. They were super busy last week with seven weddings at the resort.

  3. Hi Paula: My groom got a really nice grey pinstripe linen suit from Banana Republic, it's super nice and light (we just bought it three weeks ago so they are probably some in the store). Unfortunately it's not online and I don't have pic. The groomsmen are wearing grey pinstripe chinos with a white shirt.
  4. Hi Everyone: I am having my reception at Uncle Tony's steakhouse but am a bit concerned we only get the restaurant from 7pm to 10pm. Despite my persistent attempts to get the restaurant earlier I have been told no. Did any former brides have any problems with this short time frame and were you able to negotiate an earlier start time when you arrived at the hotel. Maria
  5. For any brides getting married at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach, Tameica (wedding co-ordinator) is no longer with the resort. I received an email from the public relations manager yesterday informing me of Tameica's departure. Not sure who is taking over the wedding planning department, but have asked. Maria
  6. Hi Paula: I am getting married a the rosehall beach next week. For my welcome bags I'm doing everything local (except for the bags) to avoid carrying too many items down. In my welcome bags, I will be including: 1. 8oz bag of blue mountain coffee 2. 2 bottles of water 3. Pens with Jamaican logo 4. Local postcards for guests to write messages back home ( 2/ bag) 5. Tamrind balls (Jamaican candy) I have family in Jamaica who are helping me get these items, but there are several souvenir shops in Montego Bay where you can pick stuff up. Maria

  8. Hello: My fiancee and I are getting married at the Iberostar Rosehall Beach in May. Does anyone know how many guests can fit on the terrace for the wedding ceremony and if the beach ceremony is held at a private location. thx.
  9. Does anyone know if the $18/person for the reception includes the open bar or is there an additional cost for this? In the package I received from my wedding coordinator back in Oct the open bar is an extra cost. For the international bar it is $10 per person per hour. The national bar is $7 per person per hour. If u rent a restaurant for ur reception wine, beer, soft drinks, tea and coffee is covered in the $800 rental fee

  11. Hi Chantelle: I'm getting married at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach in May, was wondering who was your photographer the weedding. Also did you use the hair stylist at the resort to do your hair? It looks great.
  12. Thanks so much for your posting your entire planning process. I'm getting married at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach May 2011 and was at a lost on what to put in my guests' care packages and what to do for decorations for the reception, I may have to borrow some of your ideas. Any advice you could give on having a wedding at the iberostar rosehall beach would be great. Congratulations!!!!
