I WILL LOSE IT IF I CAN'T HAVE HDC... its in my contract that i'm paying 65.00$ for a pass and it says HDC photography. I will freak.out. I have not heard from him so i'm assuming its ok. This sucks for everyone else!

Hi Chanelo, I booked the trip with a travel agent and I booked the wedding directly with Tiara. I do not see why you have to go through Thompson. I have multiple guests coming from different places and who did not book with my travel agent. You just give Tiara the wedding guest names and what flight they will be coming on. I did not have an issue after that. I'm sure you will be fine!

Well the FI looked into apparently and there is a small fishing village and i'm sure there are vendors. BUT i will be able to tell you in three weeks! Three weeks today at this moment i will be in the airport ready to leave... is it time to panic yet???

I'm doing OOT bags, believe me I realized how much i've bought. I bought stuff for games to keep everyone together during the time (rubber duckies, ring toss) I made first aid kits, passport welcome letter, bought some murano starfish necklaces for the ladies.. some tide to go and items like that. We decided also to go to the local village and buy souvenirs for each guest as a boboniere. We also made a wedding soundtrack with our first dance, and toss music ect... Its all good, doesn't really matter what you put in, because its the thought that counts.

I qualify for the free wedding as we have 24 rooms booked. But our bar was not free , but I booked SSG not the gold or silver package. I didn't book with them directly, but through Sunwing vacations here in canada.

The are wrapped and ready for walking down the isle.. the corsages and bouts are in corsage cases. To be honest I was not able to get them up from car so I didn't look at the layers underneath. ITS a huge box and our elevator was down, and we live on the fourth floor so i will inspect more tonight. But the three bouquets were placed on top and were beautiful.

JUST got my Real Touch flowers and I am soooooooooooo pleased. NO one here at work believed they were fake, I got looks at first for telling them that I got my flowers... which they thought was crazy, then telling them they were fake... They smell scrumptious too, so worth the wait! My only concern is transportation to the resort, but i'm sure i'll figure it out I will take pictures at home but seriously so gorgeous and real looking

no, we missed the Fedex guy so i called an rerouted them to go to my office this morning. this way my receptionist can accept them if i'm not available. I'm pretty impressed, Angel wrote to me in a panic because they got delayed one day because of weather and also then we were not home for delivery. (which is great customer service) So i'll know tomorrow. Now i'm putting ribbon on my fan handles to pack away... so many little things to do. ..

Thanks to all of you REALLY, i'm not worried about her... its really sad that she's making herself miserable and for ONCE no one is feeding into to it because she is making a fool out of herself. I just feel bad for her boyfriend, he's a great guy and will be stuck with her misery all week long lol... Everyone's themes are so wonderful. And dresses are to die for!!! Yay, we are all going to have fantastic weddings

All the colors are amazing, I kept to my aqua/pink theme, but if i get married again I would consider that combo!!!

If anything i'velearned planning a destination wedding, its the fact that you will never please everyone. My sister and I have a huge age difference (i'm 8 years older) She's basically shooting herself in the foot, because everyone is seeing a very ugly side to her. She selfish and jealous, and as the wedding approaches and everyone is excited, the more miserable she becomes. She didn't even come to my bridal shower. She gave an excuse that she needed to work (which is fine) except she was caught not working by a mutual family friend. ANYWAY... its my day and I won't let it all bother me. Its childish jealousy and everyone else is determined to keep her in check... LOL. I'm not letting it all bother me, nothings raining on my parade. Due to weather (IT SNOWED AGAIN) i didn't get my delivery of flowers, hopefully I get them today (FI is at home) but now we have freezing rain... can't WAIT for the beach~ thanks for listenting~

I have heard TERRIBLE things about the onsite photographer. Not about the quality of their pictures but the way they try to upsell You are paying an arm and a leg for anything. I am paying for HDC to come onsite and it is 65$ day pass. If you mention it to Tiara or Yianna they can put it in your quote.

I have to find out the exact price. These are real touch.. i'm not a fan of the corsage they made for my sister out of shells. But i'm not really liking her right now (in regards to the wedding) so I didn't harp on it with Angel (LoL) Let me look for a template.. and I'll let you know.

I believe it was 275.00... don't have the bill here. When I compared to real vs Real touch, it was cheaper... she has so many possibilities, i loved them all. Problem is you have to choose almost 6 months before. She's got these wonderful Dark purple and white flowers... anyway, i'm pleased, she did what I asked for You can ask for a quote and she will quote you pretty quickly and she's really easy to deal with

Hi Girls, and welcome new ones... My real touch have been delayed a bit, but i should have the pics this weekend and am assured i'm getting them by March 15th like requested. I asked for that date because people are helping me bring them down and I need to dispearse them. YES the flowers down there are that expensive, one of the reasons that I decided on real touch. I also got a throw away bouquet in real touch too. Otherwise, the person who catches it can't take it home (customs wont allow it) Another reason for real touch flowers, which i got from advice fromt his forum. Int the heat, real flowers wilt pretty quickly. I would like to have my flowers "fresh" for the entire day and the photos, plus we will have a tiny head table but that will server as centerpieces. I get a free bout and bouquet with my package, i'm thinking of asking if they would just make a centerpiece for the ceremony table. I've personally opted for chinese lanterns for my decoration of the gazebo. I have some aqua tulle as well that I may use. I know there is another (non forum) wedding right after me at 4, so i'm thinking i don't want to make it too difficult for the next bride. Still so much to do: Go over vows, add another hour to photo with HDC, and the list goes on. I got my Vistaprint order, i had to laugh. My man of honor said order a banner its free... so i did. The thing is huge!!! But he had a great idea... We take a picture with it and everyone on the trip on the first day and then again on the last day to see the "tan" difference. It was free i'm not going to complain. I also want to do a planning thread, because I think it will help me organize myself. LOL... i'm getting scatterbrained as we get closer to the date. - Dana

LISA IS GETTING MARRIED TODAY!!! Ladies, 5 weeks till i leave for La Romana... I'm not sure if i'm in a panic or just going with the flow. But I can tell you i'm looking forward to the beach and sun and fun that week is going to give. (i'm so sick of the snow) I'm supposed to see my real touch flowers today too!! Just got a call that my dress alterations are done too... My custom glasses for wedding party are shipped... wow its like a 1-2-3 punch of wedding bliss lol. I had a few cancellations too but we are back up to 46, possible 50 by the end of this week. We will see. I really thought it would be 18 tops... and considering that I have maybe 75 people coming to the reception at home (that is, if I hadn't chosen to do the destination thing) I'm pretty impressed. So Miss Taken, we will be the roudy group at the swim up bar lol! I can't believe how fast it is coming up, and i'm organized yes, but its just a big organized mess!!!
