I got this from Monica bridal, it is very pretty! It just doesn't fit me right. The dress is very nice, stitching is good, lightweight with good boning. Skirt is plain tulle ballgown shape. Very feminine and pretty. I love this dress but I can't wear it. :(  I hope it find a good home with someone here!

    $125 size 14 b40 w 31hips n/a

Let me know if you have any questions!

  2. Hello I ordered this as a TTD from Monic's Bridal but just doesn't offer the coverage or support I need up top. I love it but its a little to revealing on me. It would be gorgeous on someone with a little less on top than me.  My loss is your gain.. $125 US only please. Let me know if you have any questions.

Very well made, I couldn't find anything wrong. Beading is very nice, skirt is plain tulle.

    size 14.  b40 waist 31 hips n/a

  3. I got my dress from monica bridal today, i am impressed and a little dissapointed. First it is very pretty! Quality seems good, the beading is beautiful!, However I told her there were beads spread throughout the skirt that you can't see in the pictures and she assured me they knew about them, This could have been a misunderstanding though so now the skirt is plain tulle, as well as the tulle covering the bodice. Only the shoulders waist and middle bodice have beading. Its still very pretty though.

Second, It doesnt look so good on me,, i'm a little top heavy and i'm busting out of this,, the boning can't take it. :(  This is not Monica Bridal's fault though, I knew it was a possibility when I ordered it, but for 150 bucks it was worth the risk to me. Perhaps someone else can use it...I will take pics soon...

Also, I just ordered a dress from Monica bridal, i'm hoping since its very simple it will be quite similar.  I think I might use this as a TTD but not sure...

Which might be a time thing but sounds more like they just think the dress is too complicated and don't want to make it anymore. It is disappointing since I already told them that it is fine that the pleats are different, fine that the flowers are different, fine that the lace is different. I just want is the top to have a waistband, all be pleated, and not to go down as far. They are obviously capable of pleating well, can probably add a waistband without trouble (well it seems simple to me, a complete non-sewer ) and I gave them the exact measurements for how long the bodice should go down. I didn't think I was being suuuuper picky and difficult, but I maybe I am. Well, if they say that they can't do it, I should just trust that they can't since they know their abilities best, but who can I ask to make it now?

Jeff Lui wants $216 for it, which is fine, but can't show me any photos of his lace or appliques. Topspartner will take too long now, probably even if I do rush service with the holiday coming up.

  5. "Finally i dont know if this has been asked anywhere on here before but I feel like I know you ladies and wanted to ask you what you thought........My e ring has a thick platinum band and we have started to look at wedding bands (i want a thin band with a few dimonds on it) and I really dont want to spend more then like $500 on my band, but obv cant get a platinum band with a few dimonds on it for $500.........so here is my question.....Is it cheesy to get a white gold band to go with my platinum e ring? will it look different color, less shiney?  And if not is there a big difference beteween 14k and 18k gold? Thanks girls!!  "

Keep in mind that platinum will form a "Patina" with wear that other metals don' (because it is soft but strong, the metal will form scratches and dings rather then wearing down and losing metal. Platinum is less fragile than other metals)

Palladium will match it best at the beginning but will not wear the same way at all. I'n not sure if you can constantly have you platinum polished to keep it looking like your band but it's a possibility.
