  1. Wow, your photography is amazing! I love it! I wish we could get married in January and have you as our photographer, that would be so great... however we need the extra time to save up for our wedding. So... we are kind of stuck with May still :/ Thank you so much for the sweet gesture... that would have been a dream come true!
  2. Hi all! Well, we decided a couple of days ago that we are no longer getting married in Cabo, we are now going to get married in Hawaii. We have gone from Hawaii to Cabo, now back to Hawaii. SO, back to square one with all of this planning. ANY ADVICE or input on Hawaii weddings would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone used White Orchid Weddings? Which island is the best to get married on? -We are looking at a May 2012 wedding possibly in Maui. -We reeeeally wanted a toes in the sand wedding with chairs, arch, etc. however I am finding out that this doesn't sound possible in Hawaii -We would probably have 60-75 guests.... so a dinenr at a resort, restaurant, beach house, Where do we have the reception?!?! -We want to stay as far under 10 grand as possible (if that is even possible?!) Thank you all in advance!!!! xoxo Kimberly
  3. Hi Teira!! Thank you so much!! I am going to send you a PM I am extremely interested in Dreams Los Cabos, and I see you got married there! Woo hoo! Can't wait to hear about it!
  4. Hi everyone! My fiance and I just got engaged a week ago and are leaning towards a Cabo wedding over a Hawaii wedding. We REALLY want a toes in the sand wedding, with chairs and an arch set up, (Which is why we are now leaning towards Cabo since from our understanding we cannot do that in Hawaii....) If any of you experienced brides could please help me with information and answers to questions, I would appreciate it so so much!!! 1. We have family who are not too happy with a Cabo wedding because they think it will not be safe. Any advice? 2. Which resorts are the most affordable for sand in the toes weddings with a dinner reception following? 3. How did you keep costs low? 4. Can you bring party favors and decorations with you on the plane? 5. What did you do or spend money on that you wish you hadn't? 6. What do you wish you would have done differently? 7. Did you do any fun activities and were they worth it? Deep sea fishing, Zip line, Swim with dolphins, etc. 8. Do I need a wedding planner different than what the resort provides? 9. Who do you recommend for flowers, cake, photographer, music, entertainment, etc. (Or do you just use what the hotel provides in packages) 10. Which restaurants did you go to outside of the resort and how were they? 11. What was your at home reception/party like? How much money should be spent on that? Any pictures you can share with me?!?! I am on facebook also if that is an easier way to communicate. I have only been to Cabo once. I stayed at the Playa Grande and loved it. That is when I knew I wanted to get married in Cabo I am super excited to start planning, I am just nervous because I have so many questions and I want to make sure that I can have my dream wedding on the beach without having to spend a fortune. We are avoiding a wedding here because we would have to invite SOOOO many people since our families are huge and we have lots of friends here. Does DW really cut the costs as much as I am thinking it will... or is that wishful thinking?! Thanks for your help and advice in advance!! xoxo Kimberly
  5. Hi Kimber!!! I just got engaged a little over a week ago, and I also have contacted Dreams Cabo for a wedding for 2012. I got the packet of information with pricing, but did not get any rates. Did you get any rates for rooms and any special rates if so many rooms are booked? Thanks:) Kimberly

  8. Wow, this really helps a LOT!!! Thank you! Who is your TA? I have never used one before... should I just google Travel Agents in Arizona? A little over 100 bucks a person per night is much less than what I have been able to find so far on different sites. Do you happen to know if May is the season for releasing turtles? How was the weather in May? Thank you so much girls!
  9. -Are there any nice but more affordable hotels near Dreams PV that you have stayed at and loved? (Dreams is WAY too expensive for my wedding guests... but I was thinking of getting married there and staying there with my friends and fam nearby? Has anyone done this??) -Is Dreams PV close to anything fun? -I went to PV like 8 years ago... and I remember there being a Cheeseburger in Paradise, Senor Something... etc... is that near Dreams? -Is that the night life area? Is it safe/fun/worth going to? -What are fun events I can coordinate? I have so many questions and it is so hard for me wanting this beautiful wedding... but making it addordable for myself and my guests... and not knowing any answers since I do not live close by! Any and all advice is greatly appreciated Thank you so much!!!

  11. Has anyone held their wedding and reception at the Hilton Hawaiian Village? Any feedback? Postive and negative? Did you and or your guests stay there? Where was your ceremony and reception? (I reeeeally want mine in the sand... if they offer that? Or the chapel also looks breathtaking!) Also, what was the cost of everything? Thanks!!!
