Hi Dolfinluck, i'm getting married in DLR next march, i'm planning my dinner for the beach. I love your reception set-up, i really want to do the same thing with the LED lights wrapped around the trees, can i ask you where you bought these? Also did Tiara/Yanna hang them up for you and what was used to keep them wrapped around the tree? Â Do you have any other suggestions for lighting for the beach reception, i want to make it really romantic and was thinking of maybe having some tiki torches to light up a pathway to the table? Do you think this would work? Â Thanks in advance.

Hi girls, haven't posted here for a while, Congrats to the recent brides, Lizzy Jane the photos are fab, can i ask what website you ordered flowers from, and also the price if you don't mind me being nosy! We've our wedding booked for 16/3/2011, should i be expecting official confirmation or a receipt from Tiara, the deposit was taken off my card on July 1st. I'm thinking of having our dinner on the beach, would it be windy in the evenings, the last thing i want is sand blowing into our food

Hi i'm wondering if people have had much luck negotiating prices with photographers? In Ireland there is usually scope for negotiation, especially now with the recession, i'm just not sure about the dominican and don't want to offend anyone. I'm looking at HDC at the moment, so if anyone has prices that they managed to negotiate please let me know

Thanks Pink_petals, i'd seen that on their website, but then a travel agent said that if you book a partial ocean view room for 14 nights you also qualify for the free wedding. Maybe it's an agreement with with this particular travel agent? Trying to convince the hubby-to-be that a suite will be worth the extra money, sure if you can't spend it on your weeding/honeymoon when can ya? Yeah it'd be great if you could email me on some info. Also anyone who is going with the free basic wedding package, how many nights did you have to book in order to qualify for it?? Yeah lizzyjayne, i saw that you were from Ireland as i was reading through this thread, are you all organised for your big day now? We're not sure who we're booking it through yet, trailfinders have given us the best quote so far. Where are you flying out from? We'll have to go through Gatwick or Paris as there are no direct flight from Dublin. I rang the caribbean warehouse earlier and the price is working out more or less the same as going through a travel agent here, but we'd have to book our own flights to Manchester. How did you manage to haggle with them, i always thought the prices were set?? Tell me your secret!!

Hi folks, a newbie here, We've more or less decided to go with the Dreams La Romana for our wedding next March, but i want to make sure that the specific date we want is free. I filled in a request form on the Dreams website about 3/4 days ago and also emailed the wedding planners address yesterday. In general, how long does it normally take for the girls to get back to you. I just wanna be certain that this date is free before i start planning. Thanks.
