Hi Jenk. This is what I got from Monse regarding the Steak House... 6:30pm-11pm they do charge $1000... I am sure you can try to talk to Monse to see if she can just charge you for just one fee.. if let's say you start at 7pm instead? .. Hi ManTy, Congratulations!!! I just got married there this July 2010. Excellent Resort!! All my guest had a fantastic time!! You will have lots of fun planning your wedding.. If your planning to get your photos done by Mango productions (from the resort) they are fantastic!!! ... I got my hair done by Suzanne Morel - outside the resort since I have heard from other brides she is fantastic.. and she was! Many many choices where to have your wedding.. Beach, gazebo.. The resort have amazing views wherever you have your reception. Have fun!! =)

Great Venue!!! Wedding photographer have told me that best time to take photos is late afternoon which is exactly what your doing!! =))) ... Since your already doing the photos with the family before the wedding.. Just a suggestion to take the rest of the bride and groom photos after the wedding when your guest are at the cocktail bar. I also wanted my wedding at 5pm but was unable to get that time and had it at 2pm which was very hot.. but everything turned out okay. Excellent choice with the steakhouse!!! They have a gorgeous view facing the ocean/arch on their patio. Just a suggestion - Pacha Disco is small and would suggest to have your first dance at the Steakhouse on their patio. The view, the sunset and the breeze is for sure an ambience your guest will never forget when you guys have your first dance. I also just got married at Riu Palace this July and my iPod touch worked with no problem... All the ipods have the same output.. so they should all worked the same way (except the old ipod nano)... pls verify with Monse to be sure... but for me it was not a problem!!
