  1. My daily (well 6 days a week) 30 mins cardio, and then 45min weight training. Started this new routine about 5 weeks ago and have noticed huge strength/toning improvements so far. I actually LOVE going to the gym now. Who knew it would be addictive! I guess it helps that being in the Army I get paid to workout.
  2. Here's mine. Fiance took a few months to find Canadian (Polar Bear) diamonds that were mined close to my hometown. I thought that was pretty sweet! You ladies have some gorgeous rings!!!
  3. I liked both bars... Depends on the size of your group I guess since the wet bar is suggested for bigger groups. I do like the idea of the rain cover at the wet bar as it rained probably 3/7 evenings we were in Punta Cana. Tough choice though as they are both nice!
  4. I'm a Medic in the Canadian Army. So far so good, getting ready for my first overseas deployment.
  5. I'm currently a January 2011 bride at the Majestic Colonial, Punta Cana. However my fiance and I are both soldiers and we just found out we may have to reschedule to May 2011 due to deployments. Should know more in a few days!
  6. It really is a beautiful resort! And the staff were wonderful when I was there for my visit. Fiance & I were also impressed with the quality of people who were vacationing there. (unlike those staying at the cheaper resort we stayed at for a few nights...ugh some people just have no respect for others)

    Hello All

Thanks ladies! Everyone seems so helpful so far.
  8. Hello ladies. I too am a military wife to be. However I'm also a member of the military. I'm getting ready to deploy to Afghanistan myself in the next couple of weeks. So wedding planning for me has been pretty crazy trying to get as much done as possible before I deploy. Thank goodness for the internet! I'll be able to keep planning and in touch with my guests during my 8 month deployment.
  9. I'm getting married at the Majestic Colonial on January 4th, 2011! Went for a site visit last week and LOVED the resort!!
  10. My fiance and I just returned a few days ago from Grand Palladium in Punta Cana. We spent 4 days there when we were checking out resorts for our wedding. We loved the place! We had a basic room and it was very nice and clean. Had a nice jacuzzi tub and great view of one of the many pools with swim up bar. The whole resort was VERY well taken care of and the staff were wonderful! It seemed to be a very popular resort with Canadians. There were 2 wedding groups there and the weddings were BEAUTIFUL! The beach is wonderful and there were tons of beach chairs to choose from too. We talked to a lot of people who were on their 2nd or 3rd trip to that resort because they enjoyed it so much. We found the food to be good. The main buffet has tons of options and was constantly replenished with fresh food. There are lots of good dinner options too! The Japanese was our fave!! Best wishes for your wedding there, I think you guys will have a wonderful time!
