I'm just doing some candy. I'm using a quart sized chinese take-out box. Putting clear individual treat bags filled with 4 of our favorites (swedish fish, whoopers, starburst and chocolate covered pretezels) w/ some loose dark chocolate dove candies. Sticking a big labels to close it with something like "some of our favorites" or something more catchy.

Do an ebay search for specific items....I got berry Tums 3roll packages for .99 each.....36 rolls for under $20 including shipping! Also got my handsanitizer at the dollar tree, had bonus packs with 3 2oz bottles....cheap and smells good, aloe and moisturizing. Got other meds on minimuz....which was mentioned by several other girls.....shipping free on orders over $20!

We can do it!!!! Strangely I'm starting to feel less anxious......I seem to be making progress and getting more organized! I'm getting wicked excited too! Now if I could just quit my job......LOL......I could get it all done this week.Quote:

From the beginning we decided not to do an AHR. A couple of times I thought of reconsidering especially since the majority of our guests in Mexico are friends but after all this planning (with a lot more to do) I'm sure I don't want to do it.

what about calling by your last name? I went to a wedding where they did a signature drink.....there last name was Cassini so it went really nicely! Everyone was saying all night "get me a Cassini maritini! That was 4 yrs ago and people still use that slogan.....LOL!

Months ago I put out the word to friends and family that I need old suitcases for the trip. I've got 2 so far. I plan on paying the extra bag charge and leaving the suitcases down there. May send one home with my sister if I want to bring back any of my decorations or things. Hoping for one more donated suitcase or I'll buy a real cheap one at the Goodwill or something!Quote:

Thanks for the tip.....ordered 24 pairs in pink and orange only.....1.95 a pair! Not positive what I'm doing with them yet.....either putting them on the plates w/ the dinner menu or using them for the seating plan.Quote:

I found a site that has really good prices on them (like $2 a pair) here and they have my colors (pink and orange), but I'm accumulating a lot a stuff to bring down as it is. I'm hoping that's one thing I'll be able to get there.

Last winter was unusual for the carribean side of mexico I believe. I was there this past as well as the 2 previous years in January. This past was as previously stated.....cool at night, even day high were unseasonable. 2 previous January trips were warm and balmy at night....perfect. Pashminas will work either weather.
On the pacific side it down right chilly at night in the winter months!!!
